I just got the ASUS PG27AQDP 1440p 480hz OLED, it is replacing my PG248QP 540hz 1080p TN. And honestly, its much more enjoyable. The downgrade from 540hz to 480hz is not noticable, but the faster response time of OLED is. Such an responsive panel, it's insane. Brightness is not an issue for me, since I don't need such a bright display. During gaming, I kept my PG248QP at around 80%, during desktop usage at around 20-30%. With the OLED, during desktop usage I'm at around 40-50% brightness, during gaming at 90-100%. If someone really cares a lot about brightness, the monitor might still be too dark, but if it's not thaaaaaaat important, I can 100% recommend to try the AQDP.

1440p + good colors is way better for competitive shooters then 1080p TN I don't care what anyone says, it's a straight up competitive advantage, there isn't an fps difference anyway because pros and competitive players play on low anyway and these games are CPU bound anyway.

Finally a review of this one, thank you ! Now we just need a review of the 540hz Acer Nitro. I mainly play Call of Duty, ULMB2 is not aviable across all the refresh rates range we can have in this game with an high end PC (500 Hz-400Hz in multiplayer and 210-380Hz in warzone) so the PG248QP is not really the perfect 540HZ monitor for this game. And ULMB2 is only aviable at 540HZ with an AMD GPU if I’m correct. It will be great to include UFO test and response time measurements for 360hz, 240hz and 120hz. For example, the ASUS PG248QP response timesstays excellent across all refresh rates while in comparaison, the ZOWIE XL2586X gets worse results the lower the refresh rate gets.
@TotallydubbedHDАй бұрын
If you're setting the refresh rate to maximum, which is what you should do, the other refresh rate tests are irrelevant (incl the response time tests). Lower refresh rate is only applicable if you're setting it to said refresh rate (say for some odd reason you set this to 120hz).
@Gabow_FrАй бұрын
@@TotallydubbedHD To me it’s important to know if a monitor performs great across all refresh rate since not every FPS can run at 540hz. If it performs well only at max refresh rate I will not buy it.
