Or you could search for the true reality and that reality is that GOD made the heavens and the earth and everything in it. He made you too. Psalm 149:13 says: "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb." GOD loves you so much that He even gave His only begotten Son for you. If you believe in Him you will have everlasting life. GOD loves you more than anyone ever could for He is the perfect Father. Put your trust in Him, follow Him and you will be saved. Your whole life there are 2 doors for you. 1 door leads to GOD and the other door doesn't. Choose wisely my friend

Repentance is there. Each time a person trusts in Christ he has repented (changed his mind) of whatever he was trusting in to believe in The Gospel.

Adam 1984 I think you’re implying we keep the law to stay saved. If I keep myself saved where is the promise of eternal life? It’s been reduced to temporary life and maybe promise at best.

Repentance is absolutely all over the presentations of the gospel in scripture. John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus specifically by his preaching of repentance. If someone doesn't understand they are a sinner, then it makes no sense to ask Jesus to save them from their sins. So I think repentance is sort of implied in the Sin seperates us from God and the Payment for sin parts, as well as the E.

Thank you for your ministry. However, shouldn't repentance be a part of the complete Gospel?
@bryanroach57347 жыл бұрын
Derek R , repentance comes from the Greek word menatinoa, that means to change your mind. So if you think that Jesus, his shed blood, death, burial and resurrection (the Gospel) is not sufficient enough for Salvation, then you have to repent, change your mind about the Gospel on how it saves us which is by God's grace through faith apart from any works. Makes since? So if someone hears the Gospel and completely trusts it for their salvation, they essentially repented. It has nothing to do with turning from sin.
@recoveringbaptist20237 жыл бұрын
+ Bryan Roach Metanoia means to change your mind about your SINS! Paul told King Agrippa in Acts 26:20 that men "should repent AND turn to God AND prove their repentance BY THEIR DEEDS." Jesus AND the disciples told people that they should REPENT. "Confessing their SINS, they were baptized by John (the Baptist)." Of COURSE we must repent of our sins! Read 1 Cor. 6:9-11, Eph. 5, Gal. 5, Col. 3 and Rev. 21.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. P. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ( ... v10 we shall be saved by his life.) E. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. L. yet John's Gospel written for the specific purpose of salvation does not even mention the word. 98x (in John) the only condition for salvation is to believe. I think that's significant. Maybe repentance doesn't mean what we've been told it means?

@@JWry-RazonandoBiblicamente I have to strongly disagree, believing means nothing without repentance, James 2:19 Says even the demon's believe and tremble
@JWry-RazonandoBiblicamente4 жыл бұрын
@@cj-sp8ed I know where you are coming from. I once understood this passage that way but it totally contradicts Romans 4 if we are to interpret it to say that only 'real saving' faith shows itself by works. Rather James is saying faith without works is useless before men. So if even demons tremble shouldn't we as believers demonstrate our faith through practical means. This is useful faith vs dead faith. Once we understand that James is talking to believers about walking by faith rather than unbelievers to be saved, the passage starts making sense. Abraham was justified (before men Gen 22) when he offered up Isaac. He was justified (before God Gen 15) when he believed.

God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

I was agreeing with you UNTIL I realized you eliminated what the apostle Paul told King Agrippa in Acts 26:20, that he "taught men that they should REPENT and TURN TO GOD and PROVE their repentance BY THEIR DEEDS." Any "Gospel" presentation that eliminates turning from sin and calls that "works salvation," is a FALSE Gospel, and is not the Gospel John the Baptist, Jesus, and His disciples preached. Hell is FILLED with "believers" who never turned from their sins, who never had remorse and sorrow for sin. If you doubt this, please read 1 Cor. 6:9-11, Galatians 5, Ephesians 5, Colossians 3 and Rev. 21.

@JosefFurg16117 жыл бұрын
Karen Reid No, YOU are preaching another Gospel apart from "believe and thou shalt be Saved". The Gospel of John is the one book of the Bible written so that those who read might be Saved and is also the most "repentance-free" of the Gospels. Nowhere in the Bible you will find the phrase "repent of your sins", for repent means to turn from, and all over the Bible you can see examples of even God repenting, but you don't think He has sinned, don't you? Repentance is OUTSIDE of the Gospel, the next step from it, and if you believe that men have to repent from their sins to be Saved, then you are preaching works Salvation, and in that case all Bible-believing Christians should let you be accursed. The example you show there says clearly that what is proved is the repentance, and not the Salvation, by works.

Hello Diego from San Diego. Romans 8:5-15 Open menu New Living Translation 5 Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. 7 For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. 8 That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. 9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.) 10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life[a] because you have been made right with God. 11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. 12 Therefore, dear brothers and sisters,[b] you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. 13 For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature,[c] you will live. 14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children[d] of God. 15 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children.[e] Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”[

You go alot farther, and blessed alot more if you share the gospel, NOT the teaching/message of salvation, called the gospel. One gospel. Mk. 1:14-15, gospel. If you don't call THAT the gospel, your the curse of ANOTHER GOSPEL, no matter how true it is. Mt. 24:14, gospel. NO GOSPEL ACCORDING TO CHRIST FROM THIS CHANNEL, just the same old complicated, confusing, need for a savior gospel, that's NOT THE GOSPEL. Only what CHRIST says is the gospel, isthe gospel. No wonder he hasn't returned. His own religion can't even get the gospel right.

Where is the mention of repentance? Can someone be saved with out repentance? Jesus first command to the world was repent. Mark 1:15 "... and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." Here are a few more verses: Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. ; Luke 24:46-47 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." ; Act 3:19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord," ; Act_17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent," to name a few... Let's not water things down by leaving out the command to repent from sins.
@JWry-RazonandoBiblicamente4 жыл бұрын
You are correct, repentance is necessary for salvation but biblical repentance is a change of mind. In other words you change your mind about what you were trusting in to trusting in Christ alone by faith alone. Therefore... Mark 1:15 - Repent and believe - change your mind and believe the gospel. Luke 13:3 - unless you repent (change your mind) you will all likewise perish. Acts 16:31 - believe (change your mind and believe) in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.... Luke 24:46-47 Repentance and remission of sins - not from sins but remission of sins is a result after having repented. Rom 11:6 - by grace or works not both. We are saved by grace. Why then are we turning salvation by works by requiring repenting from sins? Blessings!
