It’s been 9 yrs since being born again and the Lord initially replaced the hate and disdain I had for people with absolute supernatural love. It was only 2 yrs ago that I learned the fear of God and began fasting and praying serious intercession warfare prayers. I’ve finally been set free from porn, food, and gaming addictions that has been plaguing me since childhood hallelujah!

Love to hear that you are free, but keep remembering what you did to get free because I heard that others fell back into these bad habits after they got free because they forgot the strategies that they've been using to help them get free, and didnt really go after a meaningful life.

Thank you Jesus for Salvation. Thank you for giving me a rescue story that someday I will share. Thank you for making us all story tellers of Your goodness in our lives. Help us to tell our stories, in the Light of Your Word, and give You all the Glory. Amen!

I have a personal testimony but my hands shake easily when Im nervous, and Im not too nervous. Im self conscious to show people that Im nervous when I speak to them about my testimony. I also start focusing on people's thoughts and what they would think of me because of my testimony. But I will still say my testimony if God tells me to even if my hands shake and my smile wiggles when Im nervous, and even if people think Im such a messed up person because of my testimony. I know who I am in God and I choose to walk in my identity in God and preach my testimony even if they see me as nervous, you should too because God commanded it.

I was so lost and hopeless and I was in so much darkness. Then one day on the 12th of September 2020 I saw a brother for the first time and when I saw him I recognised myself in darkness and him in light. He ended up being a Christian who ended up sharing Christ with me. I didn't believe God could even be real, I didn't know the true love of Christ could be real until I saw the light inside this brother. Meeting him and all of that was the miracle in my life that saved me. He became such a dear and close friend to me. Someone I loved so strongly with all my heart. It breaks my heart that it's coming up to a whole year since that day and for reasons I don't totally understand he doesn't talk to me as much and it's as if we aren't close brothers anymore. We got so close and 2 months ago it just faltered. I pray every day for it to get better. He will always be named when sharing my testimony. The Lord chose us both in that moment and showed his love for us and how much we mean to him in that day. I pray it gets better.

The Lord might be using your situation to have you trust Him more. Maybe your friend is backsliding and God is protecting you from a potential hurt. But above these things the fullness of life should be in and through Christ alone.. trust that He will provide for your every need. Bless you my brother.
@kbg12ila3 жыл бұрын
@@bAdA37 Amen. I think there is truth to that. I believe there is fullness in life in Christ alone, and I have been worshipping him even in the hurt of things I've gone though, because my love for the Lord isn't based on how right things are going for me personally, but on him alone. I believe one of the main things I've been learning in this experience is realising it's by the grace of God I could ever get anything. There's nothing I can do to make things right or fix situations or gain anything of worth. It's by God's grace. I've been praying for this in complete dependance on the lord, acknowledging I can't do anything and I need him. There's many things God has used these two months for. So I thank God for his presence and all the good he does in my life. It has been very difficult but I still believe it'll get better. I think God wants me to completely back off and rely on him instead of my own mind and the world for answers. He's also used this to heal my insecurities as I was very insecure in my relationship to my friend, and to all people and God as well. I was afraid that God doesn't actually care about how I feel or the things in my life. I know that isn't true but that's what God has been helping me with a lot as it was difficult to get through those feelings. Still is, but I am growing. Thank you for the comment. :)

@@kbg12ila I loved your testimony because it reminded me of Carter Conlons (“We Are In The End of this era” video by A&O Productions, starts at 21:46. It’s the last 6 minutes in case you wanted to hear why I thought it was similar) Because of his message, his character and life pursuit. You don’t sound “won” by his doctrine as you named you didn’t believe in any of this, but you believed by his character and the word you heard was received in power, not as a testimony of man, but of God. It’s so encouraging to hear another’s testimony like that .. it shows that our lives need to be a message because people are actually being saved in our generation in that way.
@kbg12ila3 жыл бұрын
@@deandreross4745 Amen. That's exactly what it was like. It was his character. The way he spoke about things. It just. It was something I'd never felt or seen before. It was the most beautiful thing that ever happened to me in my life. The Lord Jesus is responsible for that. It's he who can bring us into the light.

Your testimony isn't the sinful life story. It's as simple as I SAW. I was blind and now I see. I've heard too many stories by people where 30 minutes are spent on the perversion of their past and 1-2 minutes on Christ's saving work on their life...as of the only story was what they USED to be. Praise GOD for John Piper reminding again that the true miracle is in the SEEING. The turn to faith is the miracle!!! 🙌🙌🙌

you initially receive the holy spirit at baptism , for me that was when i was baptised as an infant, you are born again when you are baptised , john 3 5 , you are a child of god, then you grow through your life to become what you already are through the help of the holy spirit, in your personal life you dont say to your parents - mom, dad god bless you i accept you today to be my personal mother and father - no you grow up to become what you already are - a child of your parents just like you are a child of god when you are baptised as an infant - you dont choose god or your parents - they choose you

i agree with you yabo - the jewish faith was the true faith of the old testament and the catholic faith is the church of the new testament - a fullfillment of the old - protestantism - 33,000 denominations later here we are - jesus prayed we would be one

Being Jewish or Being Catholic saves no one, ONLY being of Jesus Faith can you be saved.

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but *the Spirit of your Father* which speaketh in you. (Matt10) But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but *the Holy Ghost.* (Mrk13) [And you shall be] brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. And it shall turn to you for a _testimony._ Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For *I (Jesus)* will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

my testimony is that im catholic and i thank god every day i can receive the eucharist every day - the body blood sould and divinity of the second person of the trinity - actually not symbolically - present at the alter at mass in the church established by jesus - the one holy catholic and apostolic church - it gives me goosebumps to even think that god would do that for us

So what's your testimony of when the Holy Spirit flipped your world right side up. The moment the Holy Spirit gave you the fear of God, the moment you began to hate all sin and your life was transformed to seeking righteousness. What about when your eyes was finally opened. You are glorifying a denomination, nothing in your testimony speaks of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

@Jesus Is Lord. Thank you for calling her/him out. That is one major problem in Christianity. Denominationalism.

how do you know when the holy spirit flipped your world upside down? you had this amazing feeling in the pit of your stomach right? and then you went up in front of the church and gave this amazing testimony i'm sure - ive listened to enough of them - dont put your faith in your feelings - maybe it was the holy spirit or maybe it was the pepperono pizza you ate that night - some people i listen to with these powerful "testimonies' could win an academy award - i don't ever remember when the holy spirit wasn't active in my life - my testimony is a lifelong process - he who perseveres to the end WILL BE SAVED

Michael Stello -- We are to testify of the Son of Man, Jesus and of his loving commandments (ie all of his commandments). Matt 28:19-20 Our talk should be about Jesus and his life and the life he is and gives and his authoritative teaching; not ourselves. Not on our feelings. I like it when I encounter a Jesus-loving Christian and they just love talking about JESUS, himself: the actual person Jesus the Christ. Not merely that commonly-used theological shorthand term "Christ" utilized so as to convey some indispensable instrument in a system of salvation. (I agree with what you wrote) Be blessed
