Wade is an individual from Rainier,Oregon who has an intense family history with Sasquatch on a piece of property they owned.
It is important to know that I knew nothing about Wade’s story going into this story. This story is one that is more than unlikely the start of an investigation into an area that could have Bigfoot on the property to this day. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did.

I live right across the Columbia River from Rainier. They live on both sides of the river usually up in the higher elevations where the only sign of civilization is the occasional logging road. It's almost impossible for me to believe there are people, especially educated people that just don't believe these things exist. I honestly feel almost sorry for zoologists and anthropologists --the biggest scientific revelation in their field are right under their noses and they sneer at the very notion that they exist.

Yes.. They are real. Our experience was not agressive thankfully. Growing up there were claimed sightings around Lake Mary. When we lived in WA state, it was confirmed on a camp out we were privy too because a friend was a Park Ranger. Let's just say we were taken to a high peak for a weekend to camp that no one had access or permission too. It is scary to know what happened but when we were left unharmed, it spoke volumes. I would never go looking for them just to validate their existance. Honestly think no harm came due to having our very young children with us. Also believe they have their own language. The one that approached the tent was speaking a word and it wasn't anything I have ever heard growing up in the woods.

This guy sounds like a credible, decent human. I just don't understand why, besides the fact that the squatches could be destructive at times, they were so hell bent on getting rid of them. He said they were curious and never hurt anyone. The reason they were destructive is because they were trying to protect their own territory...the same as any human would do. If they had wanted to hurt someone, they would have. Why couldn't they all just live peacefully and let each other be? Maybe they could have even proven to be beneficial to the humans in the area. I just will never understand why a human's first instinct is to destroy anything they don't understand, when there is so much we could learn from other beings. It's sad.

A full-grown adult Sasquatch a 10ft 900 lb is quite intimidating. Without fully understanding these beings most people are quite frightened by them. Not to mention their ultrasound abilities to vibrate your guts and make you want to crap your pants. It's best to learn to live with them and learn what they have to teach you

My mom lives in Rainier, Oregon. A couple of years ago, we went to beaver falls. On the way there, we stopped to hike up an old logging trail. Let me rewind for a sec. Most locals around Rainier and Clatskanie don’t go up to this area. There is an old Reddit post saying it is the type of place where you would see naked women tied to light poles in the woods at night or animals that had been sacrificed. One lady said back in the 70s/80s a sheriff came to their church and said….”you wanna see demons being conjured and people levitating, go to Beaver Falls (between Rainier & Clatskanie Oregon). He said, “The devil is real and he lives in your back yard. Now what are you going to do about it?” Obviously, these people didn’t know their authority in Christ. After this, I did some research. Decades prior an old woman went missing from her home on Beaver Falls rd. Nothing too off, but she had mentioned something about Bigfoot before she disappeared. Shortly after, an elderly man, who lived near by, said a Bigfoot had been harassing his dogs. Then, he and his dogs went missing. They found his head in a tree. A few months prior, we had gone shooting in the area. There was several dead animals on the clear cut. A chicken with its head missing. A pig and a dog. Why would they waste all that meat? I thought. Something was definitely off. Back to our day trip to the beautiful falls. As we walked up the overgrown road, we all smelled a stench worse than death. We looked 5 feet off the trail and saw something I will never comprehend. At first glance, I thought it was a dead bear. It had to be 9-10 ft tall, covered with thick wire like hair. It had enormous fangs and a dog like nose. It’s feet were long and more human like than a bear paw. The beast had wounds and had bled before it’s demise. My mom said it had to be a wolf of some sort, my daughter said it looked more like a lion, and I was stuck on a man, wolf, bear. The smell was overwhelming and it brought an impending doom feeling. There is something in those woods. Genesis 6 and the book of Enoch or government experiments may explain their existence. I believe they are inter dimensional . They are part Angel, part man, and part Animal. They are evil and they hate us. However God gave us the power to tread on them in Jesus’ name. Rebuking aliens works according to many testimonies. You can rebuke these beasts too. Just make sure you spend some time with the Lord and repent before you try to defend your property from this beast

I’m glad to read someone speaking the truth about these things and about the power in the name of Jesus Christ! Other comments about this story said screw that family and had more compassion for these beast? I 100% believe that these are hybrid creations related to the fallen angels and therefore abominations in the eyes of God Almighty. They were not meant to be. But at the same time, they do exist, and a lot do have a sort of human nature. It is a truly fascinating subject! I just think some people get a skewed perspective listening to the shows about these creatures, and need to consider how they would react if their own family was dealing with a monster looking in their children’s window at night.

We live in Connecticut, the other side of the country, and we had one look into our kitchen window twice, scaring the daylights out of my sister. After the first time, my Father 82nd Airborne Paratrooper set a trap in case it returned, thinking it most likely was neighborhood pranksters. He kept a hose turned on and placed near the kitchen door. When it returned that second time, my sister screamed, my Dad ran past her, grabbed the hose, and sprayed the Bigfoot. For this it lunged at him. I remember him yelling at it "Hey, hey!" Trying to scare it off. It turned and went back into the nearby tract of protected Watershed property of about 2,000 acres. After this, he bought a 7.62mm rifle and kept it and a box of ammo near the kitchen door. I can tell you one thing, if it did come back, knowing my Father, it was going to end up in a display case at Yale University in New Haven Connecticut or maybe at UCONN.

Great interview. In a strange way I can relate to this man. I to grew up in Southern California. My dad was also a marine. Every year our family visited the San Diego zoo. The day my dad retired from the marines we bought a travel traveler and headed North, bought some land and settled in Oregon. It was 1977 and I had just turned 11 so about the same age as this man. I never had a Sasquatch direct sighting but several, I’m being watched and flashes of something dark, tall and moving fast through the deep woods while fishing the river and picking berries. I’ve moved back South at 14 years old but lived back and forth to the great PNC 3 times, I may moved back up there again, it’s amazing. I have driven by the Trojan nuclear power plant and Rainier several times so this story fits in my brain. Thanks for a great interview and podcast by both parties.

In 1987 my wife and I went to visit friends in Seattle WA. During our stay a group of us decided to go hiking at Mt. Rainier. It was a little over 2-hour drive and I was excited because I love the outdoors and did a lot of camping and fishing. We parked in a parking field that was very empty (weekday) and started our hike. About 30 minutes into our hike we came upon a rest area with bathrooms. Everyone (there were six of us including my wife) decided to go, except me. I kept on hiking and about 1/8 mile away (I was an avid runner and was good at judging distances) I heard some noises in the woods like trampling. I decided to investigate and wondered a bit into the woods from the path, expecting to see other hikers. I began to smell a horrible stench that living in NYC, reminded me of a homeless person who hasn’t bathed in a while. About 50 feet away I saw something in a group of large, thick pine trees and could not figure out what it was. It looked like two reddish-brown hairy animals clinging to one of the trees. I could see them kind of moving a bit and trembling. Then I heard a muffled grunt and thought it might be a bear. All of a sudden this hairy creature peered from the side and we stared at each other. It had red eyes and very long hair. The face had almost human features and was sort of grayish. I froze and was fear-stricken because now I realized what I was looking at earlier. Its right arm was hugging the tree and the bottom thing was its knee. This thing was HUGE! I tried to speak but couldn’t. I thought to myself “I’m going to be eaten by “La Ciguanaba” (an old myth from my youth that my father said he witnessed) right here in the USA. I am also a martial artist and can hold my own. I have never been afraid of anyone until that day. Soon I heard voices and people approaching, and this thing simply slid back behind the trees and just walked away. I did not know what to say or do. How do I explain to everyone what I just saw? They will think I am crazy! During that time not too many people had heard of Bigfoot. This was something you read about at the library, or caught on a PBS documentary. So, I just let it go. I figured that if this thing was going to eat someone, it’ll be one of my friends, perhaps the “chubby” guy trailing in the back. I would just grab my wife by the arm and run the hell out! The hike lasted almost two hours and I was very apprehensive, always looking around and jumping at every noise. “Did you hear that? Did you hear something?” I also made sure that my wife and I were in the middle of the group so that if this thing came after us, it would grab someone else. We made it back to the car and got home safely. Now whenever I go into the woods I am always on the lookout.

I lived in Deer Island when I was young at the top of the hill. We had a long driveway that graded downhill. One night My older step-sister came crashing through the front door and collapsed on the floor saying something with red eyes was chasing her. It was very scary moment. I remember being at home by myself about 8 or 9 years old. Was outside playing by a few trees in the front yard. It always felt like something watching you. Later in life my mother lived way up in Yankton and the house was in a small ravine and I always felt like we were being watched at night when we would drive home. I never have saw a creature but have had my skin crawling on more than one occasion.

They are generally pretty docile but when the game animals are depleted in their territory, they become very bold and possibly dangerous. We have dealt with various sasquatch for over 30 years in two different but close locations of the central Pennsylvania mountains. They ate everything including the Box turtles.(They piled the shells up in one place.) So much more to say but most people just ignore the reality of nature.

A friend and I were driving to a remote area full of deer, that I had scouted for 2 years. It was 20+ miles behind, a limited access locked gate. I had a key. About 4 miles of my hunting spot, the road closed in on my Volkswagen Bug. I had about 2 feet of clearance on each sid🎉e of my car . The forest crowned, completing the tunnel effect about 10 feet above the road. There were gaps between the trees in areas of the tunnel. It was 2:30 +/-am. Because of the old road conditions was driving slow, about 1-2mph. A tall creature emerged from the break in the trees to my left. I breaded instantly and the creature in front of my bug, had placed his/her? hands on either side of my bonnet/hood. We, three exchanged suprised looks. After seconds that seemed endless, the creature lifted its hands and exited through a gap on .y right. It is a perfect area for them to thrive, mostly invisible. I know why they are hard to spot based on my and my friend's encounter!

They are so adept you couldn't get near them. And they can come up to you without notice. He feels like they almost have like this psychic ability to paralyze their prey. He said they exist in very large numbers all across the northern hemisphere. How he knows this he didn't say. There was a lot he didn't say. I wouldn't recommend going looking for them. No way. If this is true. It seems pretty damn CLEAR why they were reacting the way they were. You hardly ever hear stories of them really attacking humans. It's almost ALWAYS them getting confused and upset with modern equipment and attempts to ruin their territory. They were curious about children because children aren't a threat. Their behaviors while frustrating to this family make absolute sense in the context of what was happening on their HOME. Humans never want to accept that they aren't the only beings that have a right and desire to exist here. Go ahead and do your thing. Hunt, homestead whatever. .. I grew up with homesteaders in the PNW and I love that life but respect the land and respect that other beings will ALSO fight for their right to exist even if that turns into a headache for you. I mean it sounds like these beings could have done A LOT more if they WANTED to. Also , in all of these years of this area dealing with this. Nobody thought to take a picture of creatures that aren't supposed to exist just standing on their property line?

I've been following this topic my whole life. I grew up in the Fraser River Valley of British Columbia Canada on the north side of hwy one. From Pitt Meadows through to Hope BC is very familiar territory for me. Anyone in the business of Sasquatch history knows where this is. Funny you mention businesses with Bigfoot or Sasquatch names. We have the Sasquatch inn on Lougheed Hwy., Harrison Mills, BC. And Sasquatch provincial park near Harrison BC. Harrison is another spot the Sasquatch community is familiar with. I think the best thing that ever happened to the Sasquatch community was the internet. The internet brought us your podcast. As well as Sasquatch chronicles and many other reputable channels on youtube. I'm fascinated by Wayne's experiences that I listen to tonight. My guts don't lie to me. His encounters and information are as real as they get. I sure hope his cousin comes on. What a treat that would be!!!! As a 53 year old, since 1996 I've been living near Kelowna BC. I love the pines. But the magic of monster cedars and the many deciduous trees that make up the dark forests of where I was raised, I miss.

I have lived up the hill in Rainier for the past 30 years. I am an avid outdoorsman. I have hunted those powerlines up from Trojan. I have seen very large "black bear" tracks and have stopped hunting certain areas based on a very distinct feeling of uncomfort. I usually chalk it up to the fear of the mountain lions that populate this area but the potential of something far worse is possible. I have never seen a Squatch. I have seen what i believed was a Squatch shelter. I have pictures of that. To all of those people talking about cameras and pics.. this area is unforgiving. The brush and terrain is so difficult to navigate. Situation is improving out here but the service is spotty so why even bring a phone? A camera is a tough go due to the moisture. This area is considered a rainforest by definition. This guys story is believable. But i wouldn't put it past the local hill billy family that wants to drive out a Californian family up here. Especially one that just cut up all that old growth timber then moves onto the next town. If you have doubts of whether or not these things exist, come up here and walk 10 miles through the woods from clatsop to columbia counties. No roads.. just through the timber. I guarantee you will find things that will make you believe in the possibility. I will also guarantee the you will be watched by something that will snap the life out of you in seconds.. and severely doubt youll have enough time to pull out your phone to take a picture

Even phots would not convince people. Think of the type of cameras that were available back in the 70s. Because Sasquatch are hairy and walk upright like humans, a photo will always just look like a guy in a gorilla suit. Even recently, people thought a real bear in a Chines zoo was a man in a costume. A photo taken from a distance, on an old camera, especially at night, would not shut the skeptics up. I believe that nothing will shut the skeptics up. Bigfoot skeptics are just too narrow minded.

my heart goes out to your guest because it's so similar in a few ways to my experience growing up in Northern MN. My family ran a resort close to the Canadian border where I grew up spending summers working the resort. My brothers and I would often spend our freetime in the woods hunting and fishing the many lakes and rivers and harvesting berries and mushrooms etc... we would always be running around and would see them sometimes in the woods during the day but we had a rule to never be alone and at that time I learned very young how to handle firearms so my dad made us carry something at all times. We had visitations mostly when things settled down at the resort before the season kicked off and at the end of season. There was a ton of people activity going on all summer so we only heard a few reports of strange noises from guests who had cabins on the outter range of the main lodge. During early spring and fall we would kind of rekindle our relationship with them as no one was around other than us. We didn't live there during the winter... we lived 20 miles away in town. Everything was shut down by end of October and we would leave. So that window of early snow melt and in the late fall they would make themselves known by hanging around.. peeking through windows, rattling our metal shed roof and sometimes we would see them walking in the swamp adjacent to the main lodge. The resort was started by my grandparents who passed it to my dad and those creatures have been the reality all my life and my dads childhood so we just accepted them around. They were more shy to us than your guest so we didn't get the feeling that we would be harmed but like anything wild we had to respect it and always be on alert. I was born into this ongoing relationship with them so it was not crazy to me... just part of living up there so you don't really talk about it. We had friends who owned an apple orchard near town so we would throw buckets of extra apples in the truck and would put those out on a remote trail away from the resort. They didn't last long... when we came back to pick up the buckets we would startle bear and deer but knew they would also be around because often they would hang the buckets on branches... to tell us thanks I thought... For the most part we kept our distance and offerred gifts from time to time but my dad was very stern to keep things status quo. He said never to threaten them, point a gun, or beep horns or do anything to annoy or challenge them. Just be cool. I saw a couple families of them most often. One family had 3 and that male was reddish and the other family the male was slightly bigger and very dark. The rest of the creatures looked dark brown... maybe in the sun a bit reddish but you would never get up close and personal... If they wanted to come to you they would and often it was a surprise because they were quiet when they wanted to be. I have a lot more to say obviously with so many years of growing up there but now I live in another state and the resort is no longer running.... I have been back a few times to visit and haven't seen or felt like they were there anymore.

There are some accounts from black people on Dark Waters’ channel. But yeah, first thing I thought (esp. being a tree-hugging Oregonian) was those trees. Although when I hear of them being referred to as “protectors/keepers of the forests” I’ve gotta snicker a little bit. They sure like knocking trees down, ripping animals to shreds and not eating them, etc. … But I tend to think they’re just like humans in their variations. Some gentle giants, some nasty customers. It bugs me that a southern Californian moves to the northwest and starts ripping old-growth trees down. Wonder what for? Gotta wonder what goes through a guy’s head while watching a 2-500 year old tree like that come down? I’m not an idiot, I’m a retired carpenter! But…

@@lisacolbert5987south Louisianan here. I feel the same about old timber. I drive across the Atchafalaya Basin for my job. It’s beautiful, but I wish I could see it as my ancestors saw it. It was an ancient cypress swamp with trees that were literally 3,000+ years old. It was logged in the 1700’s. The cypress trees that are there now are a few hundred years old, and tiny compared to what was cut down. There’s one ancient tree left that I’m aware of, and although they’re all federally protected now, this particular tree is roped off. Since they grow in standing water, my husband has seen it while out fishing. He says it’s so enormous, your mind has trouble comprehending it. I couldn’t imagine how the basin must’ve looked when it was full of old growth cypress. Probably like something out of Jurassic Park. Humans will be extinct by the time it grows back to that.

What an amazing story! This in one of the most interesting sasquatch stories I have every heard. Naive people who say thing like " why were they so bent on getting rid of them or " Why couldn't they all just live peacefully and let each other be", are, (assuming they're not joking), being willfully ignorant. We weren't there. We have no idea how scary these beings are. Please don't judge the man's father too harshly. Don't judge another person until you have walked a mile in their shoes. The family was terrified! The girls were traumatized for life! There is something about these beings that is terrifying! Many years ago, when visiting Yellowstone, I almost jumped out of my skin because I saw a bear up ahead on the trail, only to realize it was just a tree stump! Now imagine seeing a 10 feet tall monster troll of a creature! 10 feet tall! Andre the giant was only 7';4''. Imagine a huge monster looking at you through your window. I know a woman who was housesitting her parent's home while her parents were away on vacation. Her older brother played a trick on her and stared at her through the window one night. She was hysterical! These beings were purposely trying to frighten the family by destroying things, including their children's toys. As a father, if I saw my boys Tonka truck smashed flat, that would really worry me. I would interpret that as they were threatening my children.
@steviemichelle7271

I try to see it from both sides. From the family’s standpoint, they’re just trying to earn a living and there are monsters on the property. From the Sasquatches’ angle, they’ve lived in the area their entire lives and don’t know why these people are here now. His statement that the logging crews received the most harassment out of anyone bears witness to the creatures’ motives. To give credit to the Sasquatch, they didn’t physically harm the family (and we know that they could have if they wanted to). I personally wouldn’t want anything staring at me through my windows, but I also wouldn’t want someone coming onto my property and taking out the trees. Both sides felt that the land belonged to them. The family purchased it on paper, and the Sasquatch have always been there. Two completely different cultural definitions of ownership. Sad situation all around.

I just discovered this podcast, and I'M HOOKED!! If this man is lying, then he's the best actor l've ever heard. I've now listened to 3 of your podcasts, and this one has hit me hard. My 60 yr old brother often goes hiking alone on Mt. Rainer. He always carries, and when l ask him if hes ever seen anything, he always just shakes his head and shrugs his shoulders. He's also a former Marine and a big guy, but he's NEVER said a word. 💀

He doesn't just live there, Bigfoot is everywhere. I camp at Crescent Lake WA. in the Olympic National Park. I woke up after long nap to go use the restroom about 100ft from the camp. My dog and I walked and I heard a loud hollar ahead of us!😮 stopped backed up and peed in the camp. Woke up my bf in the tent and it hollared again. Another time I decided to go solo camp at Hoebuck Beach at Neabay WA. Remote campground flooded that day as a big storm came earlier. I got a camp with plenty of wood and burned it all night. During sunset I hiked the beach no one was there ,but a dad and kid with a kite. I was collecting rocks ,shells and kept hearing a whistling in the hedgerow above me ...nothing was around the beach was vacant. I headed back to camp and built a bonfire the rest of the night ,I stayed up safe around it. No one but myself and my big foot friend were awake 🐵 Legend of the Makah tribe says, dont let your children play in the woods alone they like to take them and you can hear them whistling in the wind.... I always leave no trace but a special gift as thanx ✌

He told this story on Sasquatch Chronicles. He has changed some of the details. On that show, his dad killed the male and buried it and the female and two juveniles went nuts. They were constantly running around the edge of the property. Which is the true story? Or is there a true story here?

I live on PEI, and whether or not this video is a hoax, I want to confirm that there are no bears here, since I'm seeing a lot of comments dismissing it as one. The largest wild animal here is the coyote, although we also have farms with horses and Buffalo.

4 years of fairly consistent contact, have definitely seen 4 separate individuals, together at times, and you never once decided to cash in (would literally be priceless) by taking pictures? Why? Did you really not think of it for years on end? You could sell a good picture of a Sasquatch (if they exist) for almost unlimited $. Seriously. Especially if you have several pictures from separate encounters, you could retire forever with the money that such evidence would generate. So,...???🤷

This is emotional. I can only imagine how hard it must have been to deal with something like that especially back then. At least now with the internet people can share information and try to support one another as the government continues to cover this up and let people live with the stigma of being “crazy” or a “liar” if you want or need to tell your accounts. It’s a lot. My heart goes out to this man and his family and the whole community really. Trying to shoot one of them seems incredibly dangerous. More than likely your now going to end up with an injured being which seems even more dangerous. Try to find away to live peacefully and safely as possible or LEAVE seems the best options to me.

I had experiences back in the early 80's when I lived in NY State. They just watched, one time we saw a baby one up in a tree... we got out of there quick. Back then you couldn't talk to anyone about it, they would think you were crazy, so I never talked about it for 20 years. I became obsessed with reading books, movies, anything Sasquatch.

Four years and not one single picture of these creatures that stand perfectly still. Why, why do people who claim these creatures are always on their property for years never think or want to take one single picture which any normal person would do to prove their existence? I just don’t get it.

If you want to do an exploration, try Salmon Idaho and the sawtooths. Everyone in Salmon knows about them. Abandoned mining camps with families of them and the fact that they speak a spoken language that the government's aware of and studying etc etc. I havent experienced them for myself but I spent a good deal of time with a guy up there that's pretty famous artist and and I saw pictures that have me absolutely convinced. I even saw evidence of a juvenile getting into his trash cans. Prints in the snow scat that doesn't belong to any other animals.. The stories I'm hearing here match so closely the ones i heard up there.
