Nice vid as always!!! Do you think Alligators or commons are harder to care for????

@@criofthewild7237 Thanks! Alligator snappers are imo. They are more picky with their food and what they will eat and they require a bit more care with water perimeters. But I probably enjoy them a bit more due to their secretive nature.

Wish I had that tank for my Fishes, Amphibians, and aquatic Reptiles and other aquatic animals I had

@@TheIntelligentElephant71133 I hope you can end up getting one. I kept my eye out online and found mine used for a fraction of what it costed new. I then built the stand the way I wanted and painted the aquarium trim to match. Very happy with how it turned out.

Can you please tell me how you built that platform and what was used and where I can buy the materials? Thank you in advance. The setup looks awesome.
@Alligator.commonsnappers2 ай бұрын
@@MNReptiles Thanks. The frame is a combination of 2x6 and 2x4 studs and the skin is 1/2” sande plywood. As well as the top and inside shelves. Building a basic aquarium stand is easy it’s the finishing I.e spackling, wood filling, caulking, sanding, priming and painting that takes time. The barn door kit includes the rail and hardware but the doors need to be made. I got the kit on Amazon. I have 3 videos on the build process just scroll down through my videos.

@@Alligator.commonsnappers sorry I should’ve been more clear lol. I meant the platform that’s meant for your turtles to bask on. Sorry for wasting your time typing that out!

@@MNReptiles That is a huge resin root structure that I bought at petsmart. It comes to the surface but they have never once been up high enough to be out of the water. They did on occasion when they were very small but now they never stick more than their nose and sometimes head out of the water.

I've ever seen those plants before?

@@S.MO.K The only real plants currently in this tank are the pothoes along the back of the tank sitting on that shelf above the water.
