The gang talk, violence, materialism, firearms, glamorization of anger, spite, revenge etc. Does that make me a bitch because I heard something offensive towards women and society in general and chose to switch off? I don't even watch western TV shows because of the same issues I listed above. I only watch K dramas, documentaries, biopics and reality shows. And I don't mean reality shows where women fight. @@donovans5037 As you've stated, I'm not a big consumer. I was at one point but I'm not anymore so I definitely wouldn't sit and sift through. I'd rather switch to a completely different genre that only has positive messaging and that way I don't have to be selective. I just hit shuffle and whatever plays doesn't need indepth filtering and analysis. There are plenty of promiscuous women where I'm from. I just don't refer to them by that. I currently live in Asia where I run into sex workers every single day on my way back from work and never refer to them using that word either. So I think even if I lived in America I still wouldn't refer to promiscuous women or sex workers that way. I actually used to use that word affectionately amongst friends because we all consumed American TV and music and had a lot of gay friends so we thought it was hip to call each other that. But we all grew up and got over it.
