So cool to see that footage from 2011. I remember I was at my friend Joshaun's apt drinking 40s one night in 2011 and he asked me if I ever heard of Asap Rocky. I was like "You mean Aesop Rock?", and he was like "No, Asap Rocky." Then he put on the song Wassup and I was blown away. I downloaded Love Live Asap right away and played it everyday at work and showed everyone in the warehouse I was working in. Then about a month after that I remember sitting in the parking lot of the liquor store and all the sudden I heard Peso come on the radio and I was so hyped because I knew that he made it.

Rocky is the a rare breed because, for a long time, i haven't seen a hip hop artist that is fully realized as musician rattan than by what hiphop presupposes his attitude is inclusive and really chilled and has that innocent naiveness sensibility that are shown spontaneously in music and his life At the same time, he brings the game to the table by raw talents itself which is also rare and makes him extra double special

Bro, i was in 6th grade when I first heard this rap lord. I a senior now. My homie introduced his music to me, i think the first song was peso. Anyways once i heard that song it changed my whole mindset on music. Rocky had already began his life as a superstar when i was in 6th grade but i felt like i was a og fan because of how much i loved his music. Me and my friend would always say we would be the next members of ASAP 😂. It was different because you got the music you can sing loud to and just bug out to and music to just chill and vibe to.
