Merci Juls 🥰 Lors de mon arrivée en France, j'habitais dans le Vaucluse et j'habite désormais dans la Bouche du Rhône. Je me suis récemment installée à Salon de Provence et j'adore ce village 😃

What is the alcohol cleaning up? is it fingerprints? I´m not clear on what this step is for. Can you explain what you mean by "cleaning up"? Thank you. This is really beautiful. Thank you.
@keipfr3 ай бұрын
Wiping the piece with alcohol is the final step before I put it in the oven to cure. Rubbing alcohol not only wipes away finger prints and dirt/dust, but also kind of melts the clay so you can get a smoother surface so there's less sanding afterwards. I hope that made sense

Thanks. You reminded me of how much I love doing Sutton Slice. Gorgeous colour choices. I also haven't been able to find acupuncture needles. I did find #00 stainless steel Insect Specimen pins online(tube of 100 pcs for just a few dollars). Very fine and they do a brilliant job.

Thank you Kym 🥰 Thank you also for the suggestion of the insect pins. I found them on Temu 😉

I’m thinking a brayer would help with the process?
@keipfr3 ай бұрын
@@marcyb123123 It could, but you need to use your finger tips to really get into the finer details. If the clay is sticky like mine in the video, the clay would most likely stick to the roller instead of sticking to the texture mat. But you can always give it a try yourself 🥰
