@@olavi_liikanen It true i very barely beat Kefka with a average lv15 party and is super geared up (3 Green beret from farming on the Vedt to boost HP) and even have Celes for the runic ability but it just too much damage and status effect all at once and Tier 2 spell absolutely murder anyone that isnt full HP

15:08 You were kindaaaaaa suppose to do the Pub side quest, Every Pub from every town now can give you side quest and legit some of them can contain amazing stuffs. Also in this addition it like FF9 where armor and relic can teach you spell so DONT sleep on new equipment

@@TALT1989 I had to replay FF5 all the way back to Interdimensional Rift just to get the one single Blue Magic spell that's missable for the achievement, since you need all Blue Mage spells on a single save file to unlock it. And I never liked FF5 to begin with lol

@@joeh5315 ff2 isn't really that bad. Its 2-3 hours of grinding then you can just walk through the game at your own pace. After the initial grind you really don't face a challenge at all during the game due to how it works. The password system was kind dumb though.

@napoleonfeanor Eh, it's not too bad for grind actually. You just need to play a lot more intelligently than in the OG. Make good use of things like back row, elemental weaknesses, intelligent relic use, side quests (a bunch have been added), etc... On my grind scale I would put it at a 3-4, with the original being a 1-2. In my many playthroughs of FF6 I think I've gotten one game over screen, it really is too easy.

There's a hidden item relic in mt koltz to the NE of the big cave where you went south to find the main gauche. Very useful.

Just realized out of all the FF games, FF6's OST is the only one I vibe to and memorized by heart that I times I just start humming the tunes randomly when I want to relax. I might have to give this game a try and relive the FF6 world in a difficult setting.

You can get early haste shoes early by getting the treasure in the secret jail cell in the secret room behind the bed in the mansion of South Figaro town, too.

Judging from how this is going, I imagine Edgar's Noise Blaster will prove very important. It's already one of his best tools, but in the original game, most enemies aren't strong enough for confusion to be worth bothering (unless you want to stall for stealing).

@LiquidNeon00 Yeah, backrow is pretty vital in this. Although I do find it interesting that the back row is also nerfed in this. In the OG it halved damage, now it only reduces it by a third.

You missed the Atlas Armlet at Mt. Kolts. Also... you're getting hit so hard because you're all in the front row. Might have helped to get the Running Shoes and Hyper Wrist from South Figaro early from the hidden prison room.

Yeah, but that also kills its lasting power. Not that it had a whole lot of lasting power to begin with, but I've always preferred to stick with character-specific abilities throughout the game, rather than everybody turning into generic magic-users by the end.

Same here that's why UNDER 4x EXP Pixel remaster I STILL fought Ultros via the infinite loop with Terra Edgar Sabin Banon ALL at lvs over 50 + then WENT BACK their for at LV 50+ Locke ALL BEFORE going to Zozo itself.

There is absolutely no shame in grinding a few levels if the game is giving you trouble, also try putting your characters in the back row, then just spam the crossbow.

With the exception of a few characters (unless this mod changed certain abilities to no longer deal long-ranged damage), the front row is practically useless in this game. And even more so once you start getting magic. By the end in the vanilla game, I think the only characters I ever have in the front row are Locke, Umaro, and Gau. Everybody else is either always using magic, or special abilities that don't have their damage reduced by being in the back row.

In Non modes Terra Edgar Celes Locke can ALL equip the Atma/Ultima weapon sword but even at lv 99 with full HP you'll only get 4x 9999 hits out of it in the FRONT row and Umaro is still crap at lv 99 even if a Hack makes HIM controllable and could use Espers for spell learning a lv 99 Gogo IS still worth using.

I don't know if they fixed it/ patched it but you used to be able to equip relics and get status effects that remained out of combat to wash away. not sure if that is till the case. so you get poisoned and then you can put on a star pendant and it would be like using an antidote. not sure if this got fixed in the T-edition. or not. This might save you on money and time for grinding for money later. I dont know.

At least with the HEAL rod the Cursed ring user can't KILL you since without the Ribbons working the cursed shield will still BERSERK and Confuse ITS USER at the same time so you may as well even at lv 99 give them weapons that don't DO any damage IE Heal Rods.
