It's great that you got over to Rivington & the Pike Shack. On stopping over nights, do you always tend to stay away from sites? There's loads of places at/around Rivington, as you'll know. Have a great day, both of you. P.s we viewed loads of campers/motorhomes yesterday, decisions decisions 😊

When the caption came up 'I went and had my knives sharpened', I thought it was a euphemism for something😂 Tell you what, I'll take the van and Violet, you move in with your friends. Violet can stay at my house, it's got a big garden, while I go on little trips. Don't worry, my neighbour is a dog groomer/walker, so she'll look after Violet when I'm away, and I'll look after her, and get cuddles, when I'm home. Everybody's happy😁

@@keepitreal1547 I wouldn't like to guess, for me its a bit of both, I don't do well near too many people, and house rentals / mortgage prices are increíble, I'd rather work less and enjoy life more

@@Vanlife_With_Miss_V Totally understand & if in the same situation, I'd be the same. Fortunately or unfortunately I own my own home outright, daughter grown up & independent, just me & my two four legged best friends. Always loved travel & adventure...& so it's that which drives me to buy a camper to hit the road. It frustrates me that I'll still have outgoings on an empty house, but I still want it to return to as & when I want, even if not very often. More to the point I don't want to go through the upheaval (just yet) of clearing it all out, in order to rent it out...which would be the ideal. So mine is 100% through choice, I just want, even need, to get out there & hit the road. I want to first do a full slow tour of the entire coast of England, Wales, Scotland & Ireland. Really take my time, stopping off anywhere & everywhere I fancy. No time limit, not even governed by time, just enjoy it all & more so, take nature in...live in the present !
