Friends, our team will go somewhere every week and record an interesting video for you. This time we visited Surkhandarya region, famous for tandoori kebab. In this video you will see how our Chef cooks Tandir Kebab.
From time immemorial, the meat of Uzbekistan has been a favorite dish of travelers, nomads and warriors. The method performed in the field was very simple. A hole 1 meter deep and approximately the same diameter was dug into the ground and wood was placed in it.
Here, while the fuel was burning, a ram was slaughtered, sprinkled with salt, and placed on a thick piece of wood. The meat prepared in this way was lowered into a hot pit, covered with felt, covered with a thick layer of soil and waited.
Over time, tandoor-kebab has become a favorite dish not only of tourists, but also of the settled people of Moverranahr, who today cook lamb in an oven (clay oven).
