can you implement this into a melon/pumpkin farm so that the rails stop to unload everything and continue after it's emptied the inventory? The farms i see don't care about efficiency so i would appreciate the step by step or even a screenshot to show what it looks like to work.

Is there a way to make it where the comparator /won't/ put out a signal at anything higher than 2, but will put out a signal when the strength going in is 1 or 2?

I thought about it... and the only thing I saw use for would be like he said a store but then again if you put 5 emeralds in a chest and the signal strength then being 5, would you just have to place 5 Redstone until it gets to the dispenser, or is there another way to do that?

You could make 5 redstone until a repeater to make it go further or use another comparator in subtract mode then a repeater immediately to make the distance shorter. (If you actually want to make a design with one of these and you dont understand what I'm saying, let me know and I'll clarify.)

I found something weird with comparators. I put a comparator facing the side of a repeater. I activated the redstone and the repeater changed its thing that you move on it to a sort of weird bedrock texture. Can u check this out and maybe tell me what it does. I am interested.

This is the locking function of repeaters and has nothing to do with the comparator. I covered it quite in depth in my video called A Beginner's Guide To Repeaters.

Actually no repeater needed, comparators have the same base delay as a freshly placed repeater so just take the output and immediately point it back into the side while in subtract mode to get a clock. Because the smallest this can go is a 2×2 square you'll always lose 2 signal strength on the way back to the comparator, meaning that the newly subtracted output will be 1 signal strength too short to reach the comparator and any circuits attached to the second dust in the chain will stop being powered. Now because the comparator no longer has a side input the signal jumps back to full strength after a delay and the cycle repeats, making a clock! Do a formation like this to try it out: X □ = comparator X X X = dust □X

Honestly I'd rather want movable redstone or actual circuit-components(AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, etc). I dont see much use in comparators except for the storage thing.

Can’t you count the redstone dust like this : there is 2 redstone dust placed and there is 1 on the other side,and the composted setting is set to subtraction. So you count the redstone and you get this : 2 - 1 = 1 redstone that’s activated

It gets confusing when you consider that a lever and redstone adjacent to a lever have the same signal, that's all.

Comparators are calculus of Minecraft… like no one is going to use calculus on a daily basis (unless you have a job that requires it)
