2 things I would like to add here. First: The redstone block. One neat feature you didn't mention is, that redstone torches get affected by it, if placed on top. Doing this will have the torch be active for a tick before disabling, making this a quick and easy way of creating a 1 tick pulse when necessary where other methods may be a bit more complicated (i.e. making one with an observer). Second: World Edit's copy and paste. It's important to note that //copy will save your position relative to the selection you made at the time you executed the command and that //paste will use that stored relative coordinates. As an example, let's say you are 1 block above and 2 blocks to the soutch of the first selection point of your selection. //copy will save this and with //paste, the corner of where you had made your first selection point will be 1 block below and 2 blocks to the north of your position. I find this an important point to note, as it can help avoiding situations, where the placement is off due to not keeping the relativeness of the selection's position to yours in mind.
