hi everyone! i wanted to put a comment on here to also mention a HUGE part of all my habits that i forgot to mention in the video - their origins. Of course all of these things have become more “mainstream” or acknowledged because of social media, but many of these practices have deep cultural ties such as Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. You learn about the history as you study them, and I forgot that some people may not have the knowledge on it like I do because I’m acquainted with it. So, as you get into these practices, also make sure that you learn about their history and significance!!

@@snflwr078 hi there, I am Hindu and all I can recommend you is to do research through books and websites of actual Hindu people mainly from the Indian subcontinent because it’s where it started yk. One of the best places to start is to learn about the EPICs Ramayana and/or Mahabharata and then start researching about the gods and goddesses, btw I’m no professional but I have grown up in a Hindu family so i know my fair share, hope you have a good day

For me I started listening to subliminals, then I learned about reality shifting, then I read the CIA docs on shifting and learned about meditation and psychic abilities from it. I remember going this happening twice to me. Once, in a shop in Jamaica, I brushed my fingers over some really pretty tanzanite and I felt more calm than ever. Then, I had a friend who was a special needs kid, so he had this teacher who loved everything to do with crystals. Every morning, she brought a pouch of crystals and little description cards. I was so afraid to ask for one, but after noticing that she never got mad when others did, I built up the courage to do it. I asked and she said yes. I felt drawn towards a small chunk of amethyst. She looked at me and just smiled.

Also! Keep in mind when using a tarot deck, when you pull a card make sure before (like during shuffling) you are asking your question and SETTING YOUR INTENTION. intention is VERY important as it helps you connect more with the energy of your deck and you get accurate answers/results. Also another note, if you buy a deck or have a deck that is new and you haven’t used-before using the deck for readings try and connect your energy with the cards first, like shuffling them, sleeping with them by your head or blowing on them (I do this every time I use my decks) it’s very important because the tarot decks have to connect and align with your energy otherwise you won’t have that great of a connection with them and might not get the best accurate readings.

You know why you like citrine. As a depressed potato I like citrine as well. What you didn’t mention is that citrine is often dubbed as the happy crystal. Some people even start feeling giggly when they hold it. It’s just a good crystal to balance you out when you’re going through an episode of depression. Amethyst is very good for connecting back to your mind, especially when you struggle with dissociation and being a scatter brain in general, but citrine lifts you up.

Since a lot of crystals that end up in metaphysical shops were mined under unsavory conditions, I highly recommend hitting up local rock hounds for crystals. Not only are you supporting a local enthusiast/business that way, but you also know exactly who mined it and where. Not trying to judge people who buy them from crystal shops (I still do sometimes, admittedly), but I figured I’d put that out there. Also, traversing nearby trails (especially near creeks, rivers, etc.) can yield some cool results in terms of rocks. I recommend leaving an offering (sunflower seeds, dried flowers/herbs, water from your bottle, etc.) in return for whatever you end up taking.

I was always an intuitive and spiritual being but since the start of this year I started to tap into my spiritual side more. I started diving deeper into astrology and the law of attraction. And similarly like you, I began watching 'pick-a-card' tarot readings on KZbin. A few months ago I bought my own crystals and I even went rockhounding on the beach and found some quartz and jasper. I actually dove into mineral/crystal knowledge a little bit and I wanted to tell you that the citrine you are showing us in this video is most likely not a true citrine. I have discovered that true citrine starts out as amethyst and is then heated by the earth to turn an (mostly even) honey/golden colour. The piece you are holding up is likely amethyst that was artificially heat treated in an oven, causing one side to be more gold than the other. It's still a beautiful crystal, but I wanted to let you know about my findings! Happy Lion's Gate! xx

not rude! i don’t believe that it actually “aligns” the chakras just because of the colors, i just liked how the colors corresponded with the chakras :-) i would use the pendulum to check which chakras are open/closed and then try to align them with meditation!

Thank you for all the great information. It is very well presented and very useful. I would just like to point out that the crystal you called citrine, is in fact what we call burned amethyst. When amethyst's temperature is raised to a certain point (very high) it becomes orange/yellow - i.e. the purple part of it becomes orange-yellow. There are crystal stores/spirituality related stores etc..., which sell it as citrine, and even many references on google call it that as well. But it is not. Real citrine is very pale yellow, and does not have white at the bottom. It is quite rare, and therefore more expensive than the burned amethyst "citrine". So a lot of times sellers try to sell one as the other. I have been collecting and using crystals for many years, and used to think that burned amethyst was citrine, myself. Until I found a reliable source of information and discovered true citrine. This is why it is important to have reliable sources for information about crystals and their properties. I'm glad your Poppop (sorry if I didn't spell it correctly) is into crystals. No one in my family is, and I wish there was someone in my family I could share my love of crystals with. I recommend Ethan Lazzerini as a great source on both crystals and how to use them, and all things taro/oracle - he does readings as well.
