the acting in this is absolutely immaculate, I can feel the slow but ever creeping gloom and resentment rising from your character as they not only teach us all about tea, but goes into their own life, taking pauses to reflect, having slight cracks and less enthusiastic tones in their voice to convey this. its like they're aware they're talking to a camera and trying to put on a good face for us all but slowly loses the will to do so. this is storytelling at its finest, and my god do I respect it, keep at it my good man. Edit: Watching the end really made me feel whole within this story, it was such a sweet ending of the reuniting of love as he picks himself back up and rekindles his love not only for tea but his girlfriend. absolutely amazing.

My mom and younger sister are both obsessed with tea; they'll drink it almost every night, and spend loads of money on new, different varieties to try. I'm personally not a fan of tea, like at all. I kinda like the smell of some types, but to my pallet, it just tastes like water with a bit of leaves in it, which is essentiallyall that tea is. Despite this, I'll still occasionally have a glass with them, as I can at least understand why they like it so much, and am still able to appreciate it to some degree with them.

there's something so captivatingly beautiful of the way you do your storytelling, under the guise of something else, but not in a deceptive way, it makes metaphors and allusions so much more impactful and funner to think about. along with the way of speaking and writing being surprisingly genuine and human feeling, so many writers and speakers fall into the trap of writing like... some academic and way too uptight book, but I feel like the best way to convey any sort of emotion is with this style of speaking and writing that manages to be both deadpan and completely full of emotion and understandable feelings, it's great.

I agree with what other people have said about how touching and subtle this is but I also want to say that I love the character designs. The clothes and profiles are just really cool. Also, the narrator's sunken eyes and wide smile gives you a bit of apprehension, but it's not clear if they're just tired or hiding something else. It was excellent foreshadowing because it was so understated and something that you could have seen practically anywhere. It reminds me a little bit of what I look like when I don't sleep well because of my insomnia, even.

You shouldn’t use those small tea strainers, they don’t allow the leaves room to expand properly so you won’t get as much flavor and aroma. When I first stumbled on this video i was going through a break up… i clicked thinking it was gonna be a cute video about tea, but was then left crying because I was reminded about the many arguments over the most mundane things ever… That being said this video was amazing, and has taught me a lot about life… and tea

My whole family, including me, is constantly drinking tea and it was only thanks to you that I learned about some of its varieties. And the moment with the advantages of tea, people often told me that it allows you to calm down and wake up, mentioning tannins. Now I know that psychology usually says this here so that a person just sits down, brewed and just rested while he cools down. How to count to ten to calm anger- time and regularity, the ability to just take a break from work and sit and think is a plus. As long as people believe in it, it helps them purely on a psychological level. We also have a tradition here of drinking tea after a feast. This does not allow you to fall asleep after eating, pushes the dialogue while the tea is hot and literally warms. Ah, all my good memories are related to this and maybe I'm not objective. :) Thank you for that and for a good time. Have a nice day! :)

This was my favourite video of 2022. Title aside, the script reminds me of the videogame "The Beginner's Guide" by Davey Wreden, which is a narration of an artist's burnout.

its not like wholesome endings in mattias' videos are rare, but for some reason it always feels so jarring and unexpected everytime.. In a really good way this video took me a bit to process, but it tugged on me in someway that i dont know.

something I really like is, use one tea bag of a good black tea that i really like, and one bag of flavored tea. that way I can get a bit of extra flavor (that i normally don't have access to, or don't want to buy the raw ingredients for) but also have the tea that I like as well to boost the darkness

I am so glad that you, your's channel, your's art and your's videos are exist because it's such a light (light like from sun, not like light as a feather) and humane experience. It's takes to the deep of human soul, shows it's, reflects and gives some answers, some points. It's such a meaningful and cryingly cathartic experience. It's such beautiful art where you can't add anything and you can't cut off something. It's just as much as it needed. It's really is a mastery, like some paintings, or music, or books and etc. Only one word comes to mind, and this word rather is too banal and became in our time too pompous. But for me this word is accumulating mastery/hard work, talent and understanding of what you do to extent when what you produce can give really meaningful experience not only for mind but for feelings. Word is "Genius". I find you a genius. Your art (videos as a whole) give me a feeling like art of Renaissance masters that gives off bright and gentle light and kind humane compassion feeling. Your art to the core such a humanistic act, I see something like that really rare and I say it again - I am glad that you and your work is existing. You give such strength and hope for my heart and mind. Thank you.

Also, "I just wanted to learn it" is how I've fallen in love with, not only green tea but also every other kind of tea I've ever loved, and so much beside. Learning something as it is, and trying to respect it, is the first step to love.

Oh my god this was amazing. Such perfect delivery, timing, and the illustration/animation adds so much. Tea humour is not exactly a big niche but this is top-shelf stuff, not just funny, but weirdly touching. Big kudos! Really showing what’s possible with this format.

glad to be TEAched about this topic, I can already feel the sTEAm on my glasses I'm more of a just tea guy, not really mixing anything else to it...also this is great wtf
@isamekailmahmud93022 жыл бұрын
you can do better than this. TEAched is not a word and it's ok if that's a part of the pun but if you couldn't find a good word here's a different pun you could have used "I'm glad to have such a great TEAcher, I can already feel the sTEAm on my glasses" or "Thank you for TEAching me about this topic, I can already feel the sTEAm on my glasses" and you might think I don't know a lot about puns and that shouldn't be making such a big deal out of this but I thought I could be of help too and you're saying that I'm being egotistical because you think I just wanted to say that so that I could feel BETTER than you but I'm not. I'm actually pretty TEArable

I started to drink tea recently because as a kid, my religion taught that tea was EVIL and now it makes me feel rebellious. Also thanks for the guide!

5:55 I recently bought a *bag* (not a tea bag, like 200 grams) of strong fruity tea. I brewed some, forgot about it and let steep for so long that the last thirds of each cup tasted almost acidic. It wasn't nice, but I bet it would make for a perfect iced tea. Thank you weird relationship video I don't quite get, but will probably refrence in the future for teaching me about this type of brew!
@Yipper642 жыл бұрын
So this video has two themes, "relationships" clearly, with this creature and his ex. and it keeps going back to this "its not good tea" thing, this sort of weird way people have high standards for things when it doesnt really matter. Which makes me wonder are the teas allegorical for relationships? The "you deserve better" line makes me think so, along the lines of "if youre drinking tea hoping this will solve all your problems tea is not going to help" but what is it saying specifically?

This is a man whose calling is being a storyteller. The intriguing thing about your stories though and what you wish to covey, is that you understand that people learn much better through a good story. People think there's a right and wrong way to teach somebody. It's such a binary way of thinking though, and even stories themselves have become a little too wrote into narrative structure. (Beginning middle and end) and don't embrace a little of the beautiful spoken chaos of poetry (ever notice how the plot structure isn't required for poetry?). Story teller I separate the two to make it known what makes them unique. They tell narrative in the spoken and chaotic language of poetry. Knowing that people don't remember the beginning middle and ends, but they remember how what was said made them feel in their hearts. Some of the greatest pieces of literature in human history understand this balance. Up to and including the Bible.
