It’s nice how he’s consistently been using monkeys for his videos, especially since he seems to just like drawing monkeys

Ive been struggling with art for years, i feel like its the thing i want to do with my life and care about the most. I still just cant figure out how to have fun, or just not get upset with myself when i cant figure out how to proportion figures correctly, let alone stuff like color and shading and environments. keep coming back to this vid and i worry that im just fundamentally missing something. Maybe the branches are too thin or my arms are too weak but idk if i ever had fun in the way the yellow monkey described or felt the feeling the describe at the end.

I love this so much. Humans are prone to worry, so when we think of A.I. gaining consciousness, we assume the worst. This is a great example of what would likely happen

That video really did help me, but i just didnt understand the part of failling and correcting that, like, in the video, he says that with each bad drawing, he could se whats wrong and fix it in the next drawing, but how does that work? Like, if i draw really unproportional bird that should help me to not do that again?
@MattiasPilhede5 күн бұрын
Usually every time I try to draw something on paper I draw it multiple times and try to use what I learned from drawing it last time to improve or do something different
@Elcabron24014 күн бұрын
@@MattiasPilhede the thing is that i find hard to know where i did the mistake, usualy i know when there is something wrong, but i dont know what is wrong and how can i learn from it, so should i focus on the whole drawing or should i find the mistake on especific things like proportions or textures?

This video really nails the pain and joy of learning! I especially love the point about "just start doing it" - it's like a shot of adrenaline for procrastinators. Honestly, just starting makes everything seem way easier. And the analogy about how learning something new literally hurts your brain? Spot on! It’s like, "I know I should be doing something productive, but I’d rather just lay on the couch and watch KZbin." Haha! Also, the part about “sleep and exercise helping you learn” totally resonates with me. Who can resist memorizing vocab while running, right? But hey, just a heads-up: don’t exhaust yourself with learning before exercising, or you won’t even have the energy to run. Overall, the video is really helpful. It tells us that real learning isn't about finding the perfect moment; it's about taking action and sticking with it. Time to put down the procrastination and take that first step, even if it’s just opening that dusty old book!

Just realized that the astronaut may have saved themself but got an even worse fate to float into the endless nothingness of space until they run out of air and suffocate... Only upside is you get an extremely good view of the stars until that happens...
