Thank you, I play Black Powder, but still watch your videos ...... thankfully! At 3 minutes, I was a little surprised that tests resulting from closing fire are made as though in hand-to-hand, rather than from shooting and you of course are absolutely right ...... every day is a learning day :-)

Yep, I have made a couple if wee mistakes myself! I make sure now to double check my notes with rules. Despite playing loads.

Very helpful video. It answered the questions I have on broken and shaken units. The whipped unit rule is very interesting.

Really nice video series. i really like it. I just started on Black Powder and it really helps me. Do the regiments of a brigade need to stay seperated? Or can i adject them together (like in Warmaster back in the day)?

They can touch each other. However when combat occurs it's basically 1 v 1 with supports.

I'm very new to wargaming and your videos have been a great help, Thanks. A quick question on one thing that confuses me greatly in H2H: What happens to supporting units when the attacking unit they're supporting breaks, but they pass their own break test? Do they just stand around waiting to be shot at close range during the opposing fire phase, or can they close in and press the attack (I'm playing Napoleonics, but assume the rules are similar to ACW). If they are able to "close in" are they still classed as "charging". Thanks

If they pass the test, they just remain in place until there turn to act.
