Leeching Plate/Plague Doctor with Puncturing Remedy on the back bar and Nightflame as my monster set. I see a lot of low DPS groups so I aim to keep my Health over 50k and as close to 60k as I can with food. I'm virtually unkillable with a decent healer in the group. Great video, now I see what I'm shooting for when I get into trials eventually. Thanks for the video.

I've been having fun wearing Battalion Defender with all Health Glyphs and Dark Convergence on the vet trials I've been doing on my Sorc Tank. It's so fun watching trash mobs just get yanked from around the room to then have the DPS focus all of their AoEa on a single spot as it nukes whatever was in the spot.

vateshran sword and board with drake's rush back barred is my choice for that. It doesn't waste a good 5 piece buff since I could back bar the drake's.

Thanks, here's a thing tho, is there a way to hybrid dps/tank for solo arenas and dungeons? I really hate that if I want to do Vateshran or Maelstrom I am forced to DPS checks (the giant in the snow arena in maelstrom, and the ring of ghosts in the final boss of vateshran), which always end up killing me because my dps is shit, and I need to pay 20k to change my skills/attributes/CP just to finish those arenas as DPS and then pay another 20k to switch back to tanking. (Maybe the should add tanking checks as well? Like what if I wouldn't need to nuke down a ghost to stay alive, but instead buff up with all my defensive skills to be able to survive that explosion?) By hybrid I don't mean as in one build to rule them all, but rather to be able to switch between different sets and weapons but that doesn't require me to pay to change attributes or skills or champion points, like knight-errant that buffs my sword and shield skills plus clever alchemist with some damage potions, plus some skills to help me out like the 6% dmg boost from having dawnbreaker and ring of preservation of fighters guild, etc? (The samples I mentioned are fairly good but will definitely not get me through veteran modes)

I was running Rattlecage and Medusas with Mech Acuity and Shadowrend on my Magsorc... could technically be considered a hybrid I suppose, but I ran this before all the changes to armor sets. I was duo'ing most pre-DLC dungeons on Vet as the "tank" and was doing Vet Maelstrom runs with her. I made her my PVP queen so this build is long gone but it got me through a lot of content on my own. Dunno if this helps you but I thought I'd share.

Is there a dps check on matriarch runa in maelstrom? I thought the fight was %health based and the adds and mechs spawned bcuz of that..

@@alexandrebuteau9433 I don't know if you're asking me but that's something I don't know. If there is it didn't seem to affect me to a point that it was impossible to run. I had enough sustain and health and raw damage to pull me through even the more difficult stages.

I don't do that. I can tank 90% of the veteran dungeons with dps gear and sword and shield on front bar IF I have a high DPS team. In general, you pick one of the other but you can do what you like.

A great thing for both tanks and dps is to atleast have one self/group buff on either back bar or front bar, depending on what class you and your group members are And I've come to term that my character is basically a tanky dps that does good raw damage but low crits, though I will try to farm for some crit sets, mainly leviathan from crypt Edit: Try both Crest of Cyrodiil and Battalion Defender, had a good time with that when I was an argonian tank
