Thanks for the great Keynote tutorial! As someone who uses Keynote exclusively on an iPad Pro and just connected it to a Windows computer, I would love to see a tutorial on how to use Keynote on both of these platforms. It would be so helpful! Keep up the great work!

Awesome deck Stephen! So much useful stuff delivered in such a short time. One of the most important things to note apart from the preparation of relevant content is the ability to think creatively about elements involved in visually communicating the content. Your deck is a great example of how those different elements are coming together beautifully making a real impact!

Hey Stephen, another awesome masterclass.Thanks man. Q: I was using prezi before keynote, the transition in prezi looks great, can u make a masterclass of prezi like presentation in keynote?& glad if u can do a tutorial on pages!!!
@StephenGates4 жыл бұрын
Haven't used Prezi in a while but am sure I can pull that together on that. Sadly I don't use Pages as I opt for InDesign instead so won't be able to shed much light on that.
@SuzyQQQQQQQ4 жыл бұрын
I saw someone who added a bunch of hyperlinks to shapes (from say the roadmap slide to the slide the content was on and back again) to make Keynote act like Prezi.

Stephen AMAZING TRAING VID! Would you have the source file for this particular Decks Keynote Presentation, like you provided with the Timer, iPhone and Agenda Keynote files? Let me know what you can please. Having that Keynote Decks file would be very helpful for me to be able look through each slide and pick apart to fully understand how those animations were done so I can recreate them differently on my own with my own background style and icons. Thank you for whatever you can do. Again, TREMENDOUS VIDEO! Thank you!!!

This particular deck has a lot of content I have built up over a lot of years so I am not able to share it in the form I showed in the video but your point is a good one. Let me work on breaking it into parts I can post to help.

Hi Stephen, Just following up again to find out what you were able to do by breaking up that Keynote presentation it into parts? By the way, I've been all over KZbin and there is only one other person doing what you're doing (teaching Keynote). I really appreciate you doing this!

What is a deck? I assume it’s analogous to a deck of cards where each slide is like a card and the totality of the slides in the presentation is the deck? Is that right?
@SandyManuel4 жыл бұрын
Once again really insightful and helpful Particularly content / Milanote foundation - I’ve done the content on post it’s so Milanote looks a life saver :-) Q) have you considered Prezi video; with the ability to zoom in/out to give better context and relationship mapping. Curious to your thoughts as I consider keynote for ‘storytelling’ Thanks again 👍🏽😊

@@StephenGates if possible, would love to see 1) more templates on milanote from story structure to production of material, managing teams etc 2) key components of a good story, again almost like a template of 'story beats' Rationale is i have an over abundance of content, restructuring it in a compelling narrative is taking the most time, and your insights on what works for you would be very helpful :-)
