Your step-by-step guidance made the process so straightforward and manageable, demystifying what can often seem like a complex task. Kudos to you for creating such a valuable resource; your ability to articulate each step clearly and effectively has truly enhanced my skill set and will undoubtedly benefit many others.

Thanks Cat, I like that one can have room for notes on the same screen as a Powerpoint window share. I just tried it & the recording is lower resolution than it would be if sharing the whole screen of course so the recording probably won't be in a standard size like 720p or 1080p Mine was 1160 × 654 & I'd probable need to resize it smaller to really get a decent size notes window open beside the PP window. Thanks :)

Hello Cat - just wanted to congratulate you on doing such an amazing job - your videos are some of the clearest I've seen and I'm really impressed with your overall presentation - i can learn so much from you! One question - i've been able to create the overlay but when I take it into Ecamm how do you get the camera overlay to sit behind the graphic - ie i have the video sitting on top - can't figure it out. Would appreciate it if you could help - I will be singing your praises on the Ecamm FB group!
@CatMulvihill3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the very kind feedback! Much appreciated 😊 To arrange the order of overlays, in your Ecamm Overlays Window, you can click on the camera overlay and drag it down below the graphic. The Overlays appear in the order they are listed, with the top overlay appearing on the top (front).

I've been following your tutorials for a while now and they've transformed my presentations - as far as I'm concerned, at least! This one has flummoxed me, though. I can't get the 'subtract' command to work; it's greyed out. If you have an off-the-peg answer to what I'm doing wrong, I'd be grateful to know what it is. I've tried google to no avail but I don't want to send you on a techie wild goose chase.

Another great video! When you exported the animated slide as a movie, I wondered why you didn't knock the frame rate down to 30 fps for OBS. Maybe that setting doesn't matter when exporting?

@@CatMulvihill Hi Cat. I clicked the link under GET YOUR GRAPHIC OVERLAY PACK. What happened was that the browser responds that "the connection to this web site is not secure". I was using the MS Edge browser and I just tried it with Chrome with a similar result.

Great channel Cat!Im a new subscriber...Im a interior design student obviously doing project upon project and keynote is my go to. QQ: I need to create a pie chart where I can use a color dropper to customize the pie chart based on the colors in a photo. Is that possible in Keynote? If not where can I do that?
@CatMulvihill3 жыл бұрын
So, yes, you can add a pie chart and change the colours with an eyedropper (Insert > Chart > Pie Chart, click on the part of the pie you want to change and use the dropper). But, if you wanted that automated or for the pie to breakdown based on the amount of colour in the photo, I'm not sure if that's an option.

If you want your borders with the exact same dimensions as your cutout, before you subtract them - duplicate those shapes, remove the fill and add the white line border. It is now exactly the same size and shape. Just make sure you do not select these borders when you actually do the subtraction to cut out the background.

hey how did you make your zoom call guest into a circle icon size ? i could use some help thank you
@CatMulvihill3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure I fully understand your question. You can't change the format of Zoom (e.g. circles instead of square videos). If that's not the question, perhaps you can give me some more context.

In OBS, when you want to bring in the Agenda animation, does it have to be another scene, or can you dynamically bring a source into a scene. Esp. and animated one.
@CatMulvihill3 жыл бұрын
Edward, you can either set up a separate scene, or you control what shows up or hides in the sources window. For example, have one scene with your main camera showing all the time, but select when you show the agenda animation by clicking on the 'eye' icon.

Hi Scott, you say import it into Zoom. You want to import the graphic into a streaming software like OBS or Ecamm, and then turn on the virtual camera. Both OBS and Ecamm support .mov files.
