I don't know why nobody is talking about the book Your Life Your Game by Keezano. I read it last year, and it’s an excellent Catholic religious book. It beautifully shows how connecting with God and building meaningful relationships can lead to spiritual growth and success in both your personal and professional life. A must-read. God bless ❤🙏🏼

“For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time-to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. And now he has made all of this plain to us by the appearing of Christ Jesus, our Savior. He broke the power of death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the Good News.” 2 Timothy 1:9-10

Work out your salvation in fear and trembling. Pray you may be worthy to escape what's to come. (Tribulation) I won't know until that day.
@judithmargret5972Күн бұрын
This verse doesn't speak of losing our salvation, or working for our salvation, but work out. We are to be imitators of Christ , to be in submission to God, and to walk worthy of our calling in faith and obedience. To put it simply it says you are saved, now act like it. Remember, He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. 1:6, chapter before fear and trembling. In Romans 8:16 we are told we have assurance of our salvation because the Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. We have full assurance. There is no waiting till the end with bated breath to see whether we made it or not.

Thank you for causing me to consider the gift that God gave to Christ. I was too wrap up in the gift Christ gave me. Please do not insult dirt as they never rebel against Christ. Before Christ we were worth less than dirt, after Christ we are worth more than the entire Earth. Jesus is worthy.

The Bible says that salvation is the greatest gift because it offers eternal life through Jesus Christ. Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" AI OVERVIEW
@naeembourne2474Күн бұрын
Free gift not the greatest. And you can't have salvation (free gift) unless you first have Jesus therefore greater. But this topic isn't that crucial... you can't have one without the other.
@darenbilliot1003Күн бұрын
@@naeembourne2474 What makes you think this statement is implying the gift comes before salvation ?
@naeembourne2474Күн бұрын
@darenbilliot1003 because if you say 'the greatest gift' that's about sums it up. The greatest means nothing is before or after. But again...you can't separate the two...

Salvation is the greatest gift because it’s Jesus himself

Corey I hope this helps? “While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled.” John 17:12 NASB1995 Jesus is talking about in John 6:39, and the Apostle John is telling you in John 18 that Jesus protected the Apostles from Roman violence/judgment to fulfill what Jesus said back in John 6. It’s right there. What mission? The mission Jesus just talked about in the high priestly prayer: to preach the Gospel. Follow me here… None of that is about you or me. How do I know? The very next sentence is: ““I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17:20-21 NASB1995 That’s us. We believe in the “their word”, the word of the Apostles. Leighton Flowers

I’d argue salvation is still the greatest gift because it addresses the greatest need and does so in a way we could never merit. Jesus does not need us and any gift given to Him is deserved because he is God. Nonetheless I get what you’re trying to say. Merry Christmas!
@danielturner9832Күн бұрын
It is the greatest gift to the individual but how about a gift of billions who have received their personal greatest gift. Great is God the personal to every one of his children. That is the point you miss.

Cory, if I hear you correctly, you're saying that we are a greater gift to GOD than Jesus being a greater gift to the world. If this is what you are saying, I gotta tell ya, you've lost your mind.

I thought we were saved for eternal life sir. If so then salvation and eternal life is the same thing isn't it? I'm not questioning disrespectfully but for understanding. I listen again, maybe I'm missing something.
@whymindsetmattersКүн бұрын
The greatest gift ever given was given by the Father to all of humanity who places their faith in him. I'll keep it simple. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he GAVE his ONLY begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
