This had me traumatized my sophomore year in college. My roommate was Apostolic. And, had me wondering about my salvation. I called my pastor back home and he explained things to me. Eh.. not so sure. This is a reported re-baptism for him. Is the re-baptism biblical? Is this some kind of evidence that the first baptism isn't good enough? I understand that we might still send after our first baptism. The Bible mentions confession of your sins and repentance, not a second baptism. He may need to sit under a true man of God and be led in the Right way before assuming ministerial duties.

To be in this congregation you would have to believe salvation is based on the works of our mouth rather than the grace of God. Baptism doesn't save us anyway. It's an outward show of what has already happened on the inside. We do confess with our own mouth and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, but after that comes salvation. That's before baptism.
