This series was my favorite as a kid. I read it so much that my mother had to force me to read another kind of book in between each Warriors book because I would literally not read anything else. Can’t wait for a trip down memory lane!

YO! This is so cool! I just know I'm gonna adore y'all's perspective on this series. I first read one of these books at like 17-ish but only really got into exploring the series and really engaging in the discussion and fandom like two years ago. It kind of floors me how this series can exist as this piece of absolute corporate mass produced schlock but still have enough to chew on that it's very fun to revisit and reimagine and analyze from sooooo many different angles.

yoooo i love warriors!! ive read the books for over a decade (when i barely knew english) and they still hold a place in my heart. edit: im listening to the first episode and omfg i thought i was the only one whose first book was the sight. i remember being so confused despite the exposition.

I have a *heavy* distaste for the actual warrior cats stuff but most of the fan works and stuff inspired by the series (my experience here is mostly from comics like what lurks beneath and the exile) is amazing

D-did you make a podcast just for me? More seriously, I can't wait to revisit the series through an adult lens. Even as a kid, I didn't like the later books as much (I never finished the third sextet) so this is gonna be a _ride_. I was pretty into Guardians of Gahoole around the same time period, and that series is just an unintentional chronicle of Owl Democracy sliding into fascism... so, can't wait to see what I don't remember about the Warrior Cats.

When I first saw this announcement on Lola's channel, I was like, I think I've heard of that book series they named this podcast after. Then...... in the RER and Metro and TGV stations allover here in Paris I saw that the book series was being advertised recently, they call it "La Guerre des Clans" here in France. I had actually forgotten the English title for it when I first saw it, but the cover is unmistakable. But I still don't know why there's so much advertisement for the series right now in France, lol
