A Bike Rack For A Family Of Five - Installing The Halfords Advanced 4 Bike Tow Bar Mounted Bike Rack

It's so hard to find a bike rack that works for a family of 5, and I needed to find a solution to fitting 5 bikes on a car, so we can go out on a family bike ride together. I did lots of research into bikes racks, and what we wanted from ours. I think you will find over here in the UK we don't have bike racks for 5 bikes, our solution was to go for a 4 bike rack that attaches to a tow bar for the main lot of bikes, and also an easy-to-fit 1 bike rack to attach to the roof.
We purchased the Halfords Advanced 4 Bike Tow Bar Mounted Bike Rack and the Thule ProRide 1 Bike Roof Mounted Bike Rack which worked for us and it also means when my eldest son doesn't come out with us as much we can just use the 4 bike rack on its own.

That the thule rack is super easy to attach/detach, just need the strength to lift the bike

What's a square tow bar? Do you mean a flange tow bar? I don't see how that would be any more stable for this type of carrier...
