The founders never meant for presidential elections to be that important. State and local elections and congressional seats were supposed to be far more important. But the erosion of the checks and balances over the last 150 years means that these.electoons became so important that some people have adopted them as their new religion. That's a problem. Because even if a candidate was just talking shit to get elected, they now have to actually follow through on a lot of it for their party to consistently win. And for this group of Democrats that means a lot of troubling stuff that will absolutely impact you. Especially if you own a business. And he'll, NYC is driving towards a fiscal cliff. In many ways if you live in NYC you should want Biden to win because he will bail them out. The system of checks and balances was supposed to force the federal government to move carefully, at a slow pace. Less is more. That's been flipped entirely on its head by a 150 year old theory on the left that the constitution doesn't allow for the federal government to do enough for you. Whereas the constitution only actually guards the declaration of independence, which enshrines your god given rights. The federal government was only ever supposed to protect those rights they cannot give you. State and local government was supposed to matter far more as they are closer to you and theoretically more accountable.
@amedicabg4 жыл бұрын
Well that why its a federation to begin with...50 countries connected by a central management system
@DivineRenegadeDeanna4 жыл бұрын
The democratic theologies follow the ancient roman laws and rules. Rome is still in charge here, the "good little catholics" (Democrats) who are worshipping the roman caesar through the Pope. The constitution was, theoretically, written to free Us from roman rule through maritime law. Caesar (Romans) and Pharaoh (egyptians) are fighting over the slaves.
@akev27944 жыл бұрын
Perhaps you should tell that to the Republicans, who, for example, have ballooned the deficit in the last few decades despite the concept of fiscal conservatism. towardsdatascience.com/which-party-adds-more-to-deficits-a6422c6b00d7 The founders also wanted a strict separation of church and state, and guess which party tries to erode that separation? Furthermore, there is a legal process to amend and/or add to the Constitution, it's not supposed to be unchangeable - the 13th to 15th amendments were nice additions wouldn't you say? There are also several elements to the constitution which give the federal government more power than you seem to admit - the sixteenth amendment, for example, removes various restrictions on the federal government's ability to tax income. But sure, just insult the democrats why don't you, and pretend they all just want the government to help them - that's a very fair and reasonable assessment, I'm sure.
@egg54744 жыл бұрын
Pretty much any government’s directive is to grow and gain more power, giving anything up for the sake of the people is extremely difficult if it means a loss of tax dollars or authority. A moral government needs strong humility and the people to have no remorse when it comes to what policy they are to beholden by the ballot box, but unfortunately that isn’t a very lucrative career that attracts people with good intentions. So instead we get corporatist bureaucrats
@akev27944 жыл бұрын
@@egg5474 I'm not disagreeing at all - I merely contend that it's not a problem unique to either party (though I'd argue Republicans are worse). Secondly, it's not that I have some blind trust of government, it's that I think many of the same kinds of people end up leading large private corporations, such that I don't trust them or their intentions either. But I can vote for or against government officials, whereas I have no such direct control over Google, Facebook or what have you, and so that helps inform my political position.

Not being the easiest target is probably the most important security rule. Because of the other super important rule in security: Only time really matters. So when demonstrating lock picking one of the responses usually is: Shit that doesn't take longer then using a key! So standard beginner tips are: Use several different locks. Use another lock then you neighbor. Because selecting a more secure lock is quite a bit more tricky. As a general rule of thumb: at least try to rake every lock you buy. If that works don't use the damn thing! Finally: Tamper protection/alerts, the more the better.
