A Bird Flew into my Motorcycle Windscreen EP 4

Shortly after I separated from my friends on I15 going south A Bird Flew into my Motorcycle Windscreen and it got killed instantly at 80 miles/hour. We have separated in Idaho Falls, Id from there I started heading towards Salt Lake City on I15 just South of Salt Lake City I took US HWY 6 going East to Moab. It Turned to be a very long day in the saddle close to 900km. I thought to take it all the way to Moab but I got to tired and stoped for the night at Price Canyon Recreation Site. We will meet again with my friends in Moab in the next Episode.

Many years ago I was hit in the face shield by a large bird. I was doing about 80 mph on the freeway. It cracked but did not penetrate the shield. There was blood everywhere, I was completely blinded. Until I managed to get the shield open. It almost knocked me off the bike, and did a lot of soft tissue damage in my neck. It took weeks to recover, and now that I'm getting older, I'm starting to have pain in my neck, and can't turn my head as far as I used to. I was wearing a full face helmet. Had I been wearing an open face helmet and sunglasses, or no helmet, I would not be here right now.

Yea that can be fatal with open helmet, I would not ever consider open helmet for that reason even a bigger bug can hurt
