Just a bit of an elaboration here for the people who are interested in the origins of these, Night of Nights is actually a remix of Flowering Nights (which is of course by Zun) by Cool and Create and BeatMario And also the particular version of Bad Apple you covered was from the Alstroemeria Records remix of the original song which had the same name but a slightly different melody which got super popular. Touhou music credits are confusing (ｰ ｰ;)

They're still based on them and Touhou fan works. Night of Nights is practically the same as Flowering Night just faster in this case and Bad Apple!! is very similar to the original, especially considering the original of that one was 16-bit

I'm just saying that it would've been nice if he'd done some of the less generic and widely-known songs in favour of ones directly from the game soundtracks, like Kobito of the Shining Needle ~ Little Princess or Last Occultism ~ Esotericist of the Present World. It's not that the three here aren't good, it's just that they're old and have been done so many times before that it'd be nice to see some newer stuff. also both versions of Bad Apple, Nomico and LLS, diverge in melody after the first section :/

The original piece is called Flowering Nights. I'm not trying to be rude but you should do more research before you play any music that require giving credit to. Owen Was Her?, Pure Furies ~ Whereabouts of the Heart, Hartmann's Youkai Girl, Bloom Nobly, Ink-Black Cherry Blossom ~ Border of Life, Reach for the Moon, Immortal Smoke, Necrofantasia, The Gensokyo The Gods Loved, Shanghai Teahouse ~ Chinese Tea. all those 9 musics were at the top 9 from at least 2017 to 2019, from the official popularity poll. yeah, except U.N. owen was her, every other musics are not as popular as you may think. "Bad Apple!!" was only 110th (out of 530) in the popularity poll from 2019 (112th in 2018 and 97th in 2017), which is good, but yeah, at least a hundred other musics seemed to be better choices here. also, bad apple is in Touhou 4, which very few people actually even played it as it is a game from the NEC PC9801, and very few copies of this game even exist. even with the age of emulators, only the big fans of touhou generally played the first 5 games. Just so you know, Bad apple's video of the original music (not the remix) had like a four digits number of views max before the remix became trending. at the moment bad apple original has around 650K views, while the remix has 25M views, which is around 40 times higher than the original. in comparison, a music like Necrofantasia that didn't got any "trending videos" like the bad apple one, or any extremely popular meme on it, has 2,2 millions of views, which is around 3.5 times higher than bad apple. hartmann's youkai girl has 928k views. etc... and most of the touhou musics have like 300-600k views anyway nowadays. strawberry crisis that hasn't even a single video about it like bad apple, and on a really obscure touhou game, still has 597k views. so yeah, if he was searching for popular touhou musics, bad apple was clearly not a good choice. "Night of Nights" isn't even a touhou music to begin with. yes, Night of Nights never existed in touhou. that's the name of a popular remix of "Flowering Night", the theme of sakuya stage in touhou 6. and he even used the remixed version of bad apple too, not the original one. and that wouldn't surprised me if he actually used a remix for U.N. owen was her? as a reference too (the one used on the ran ran ru meme) so yeah, people asked "A-Bit of Touhou", and he did instead "A-Bit of popular remixes of Touhou", so a remix of remixes. no wonder why some people are pissed. it's like if you asked a remix of "street fighter" musics, and got a remix of "street fighter the movie" musics instead because the guy only took the first result on the youtube bar search. same effect here. and now people are like "isn't it the same ?" "It's better than nothing", lol. anyway, people didn't asked this guy to know what the popular musics are, but at least, he should have used the original musics for a remix. that would have been a good start, don't you think ? that's the real reason why most of the people are pissed here. you could always argue that touhou fans are never satisfied, which is kinda true, but still, there was not a single hint of a proper research. I'm pretty sure the guy after making this video was like "I don't even know what a Touhou is, is this an anime ?" using night of nights and the remixed bad apple for your video is the sign of knowing absolutely nothing about touhou, and not even trying. he didn't even tried to appeal for the touhou fans, he was just here for the free views. EDIT : also, I've watched a lot of comments, and I don't find that much comments complaining about the video. most of the complaints I've seen are people who complain about people complaining. either the comments were deleted, or they were just not that much to begin with.
