I heard it first by suicide boi. I would listen only to the intro. Rewind it and listen for some reason this song stuck with me for years. Followed me in the darkest places of my life and now I'm some where better. Somewhere safe and I hear this song under some stupid TV drama and I feel chills race down my spine. I've never felt so attached to music, to a sing so much in my life. This music isn't even the music I listen to.

Music is an incredibly mysterious thing. It has a way of transporting you back to another time in your life within seconds or bringing back deep emotions and moods. its truly amazing! I totally get it, it's actually because of those experiences I had myself that made me want to make music in the first place. I wrote this song at a really hard, lonely time in my life, the piano chords I played over and over and they moved me, my words came out and they were true and real. It's hard to be that vulnerable in every song you write, but this one felt right and came easily. It's gone on to have a crazy life of it's own that's for sure! I was listening to your cover of changes from shrek 2, the only version of that song I like, and happened to find this song on your page. I understand why people think the “it’s not fair” part of the song is the best, mostly because they’ve heard it as a sample. Imo the transition back to the chorus after that verse is the best part of the song. The way the chorus comes back in with those beautiful piano chords. Oh my god, this song is fucking amazing. I am late to the Grey's boat. I am watching the series from the beginning. I Just watched season 3 episodes 15, 16, and 17 last night. Oh my! I was so blown away and shocked and... indescribable, really. I bawled like a little baby when Derick cried. Then, when her mom died, that caught me so off guard and I lost it.
