As a Jimmie Johnson fan I’m going to sum up the last few years and the comments from others we can all agree on: 1. Jimmie Johnson is the 🐐 2. Richard Petty is the 🐐 3. Dale S is the 🐐 4. Jeff Gordon is the 🐐 5. We all have our personal goats and that’s fine 6. Pain 7. Jimmie could have easily have had more than 7 championships in his career 8. In 2012 if he didn’t blow a tire at Phoenix and have the mechanical failure at homestead, he could have had 8 championships today and been fighting 9 9. Maybe there should be a petition to add Jimmie to the playoffs lol 10. Jimmie has had terrible luck the last 3 years 11. Cliff Daniels is an excellent crew chief 12. Hendrick should move to a 3 car team 13. Jimmie is a class act and a role model to all 14. When Jimmie wrecks (not including plate tracks) he wrecks himself not others (not saying he’s never wrecked anyone). 15. Guys like Hamlin Logano Keselowski Busch and Harvick are hated because they are always aggressive and crash others, like today Hamlin and Logano wrecking and ending jimmies chances 16. Cole Custer and Austin Dillion are a waste of a playoff spots 17. Jimmie had zeros for 2 races (80 - 100 points lost) and still finished 6 points below Byron and Dibby. That’s a champion spirt. 18. The rule should be you win and ur in if ur in the top 20 in the standings, this guy Custer was 25th in the standings before his win smh 19. Let’s go get 10 more trophies 🏆 20. I’m not crying your crying 😭

While he had bad luck the last few years in the years prior he must of used up all his luck because he seemed to have a golden horse shoe a lot of the time with strategy calls from Knaus. If anything the last few years have been his luck averaging out.
@llLittleNicky4 жыл бұрын
Keselowski won that 2012 championship by being the better team. You can’t base success off of what ifs buddy. Also you bring up luck, in NASCAR you put yourself in position to make your own luck. So, I just feel like a few of your points made above are irrelevant and absolutely biased.

Man, that was awesome awesome race and seeing Byron pull away for his cup win is truly amazing. I was a big Gordon fan and when he retired, I kind of of lost interest in NASCAR. Then I started getting back into when Byron Started three years ago because of his young talent and also since I go to Liberty. This year has been rough for him and I was worried that him and Chad weren't working out very well. Even in this race I was questioning their call to pit with like 15 to go and they were in 3rd (that just proves how much I actually know about a good strategy). But now after this win I can see how much of an Impact Chad has had on this team. Also, I was really rooting for Jimmie because of much I respect him and I really did hate to him go out like that. This was a pretty long comment but I also wanted to mention that Watching your videos has really helped me get even more into NASCAR as all of your videos are great content.

Overall, this year’s NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 race is pretty amazing! It’s awesome to see William Byron get his 1st ever win in the NASCAR Cup Series ever since he made his first debut back in 2018! Looks like 5 years later after when Jeff Gordon got his final win at Martinsville back in 2015, William Byron finally got the 24 car back into the Victory Lane once again at Daytona! It’s a shame that Jimmie Johnson missed the playoffs once again just like last year but luckily he made 15 years into the NASCAR playoffs in his career. Hopefully we get the 48 car back into Victory Lane soon with a new driver. Also, I thought there wasn’t going to be that many big ones during this race, but turns out it was only for the final stage due to a lot of drivers wanting to get into the playoffs this year. It’s also ashamed that Johnson got involved in one of the wrecks which made him miss the playoffs but luckily he still made it to the Top 20 at the end. So overall, this was a pretty amazing Coke Zero Sugar 400 Daytona race! Can’t wait for Darlington next weekend along with seeing all the throwbacks for this year! 😃😁👍🏎🏁

Could even swap back and forth every year. One year at Daytona and next year at Talladega. Throw in something else, make it a 600 mile race and give Dega some lights so they can run at night. I loved the drama from this year’s race because we did not know who were the final 16 until the checkered flew.

Haven't watched a lot of Nascar but I feel like for a lot of this season, Jimmie Johnson, just got really unlucky. Most of the crashes he's ended up in, he wasn't at fault at all but just ended up getting collected in the aftermath. If he had just a bit more luck he probably would have made play-offs in a relatively comfortable fashion.

Why have I accidentally predicted what race he gets his first win because in heat 4 championship mode he got a win at the summer Daytona race

Once again the plate package provides an exceptional race. I can’t remember a better stretch of Daytona and Talladega races

They shouldn’t make the finale Daytona they should make it a figure 8

I’m a Johnson fan who started watching in 2017. Hope Jimmie can win 1 more.

Who knows what is Jimmie going to do: he could decide to do one more season or a partial schedule for next season who knows November is still a long ways off and who knows what (else) 2020 will bring

Eric Estepp, one thing you should keep in mind with Matt D is that with transitioning to a new team, most of the learning curve of the season has been virtual with no practice time so it would be tough to get calibrated. It’s just not a fair comparison to 2017 when there was practice

I'm emotionally numb. DiBenedetto is arguably my favorite driver, and being a Virginian I'm a Wood Brothers fan Always a Hendrick fan as well, and I wanted Johnson and Byron to win I laughed I cheered I cried I had multiple panic attacks Great race

What’s going on here when Kyle Busch is the reasonable one and Ryan Newman is the one calling a driver names instead? Definitely 2020.

The fact that I literally had the worst night afterwards in 2020 and it took me an entire DAY to even look at anything NASCAR related, that's how much my soul was just crushed after Johnson didn't make it.

I am happy for Mat D. I'm glad he made it into the playoffs. I feel that he has done really good this yr moving to a new team for the first yr making the playoffs. There is a lot of people who dont make the playoffs the first yr when they switch rides.

The thing that amazed me about JJ's team was they proved probably one of the top 5 best off the truck after practice and qualifying went away.

I was very skeptical about Daytona being the last race of the regular season but now I'm sold! I hope they keep it that way! Its made for so much drama and gave for a true opportunity for the guys 18th through 30th in points for those guys to play spoiler and sneak into the playoffs. It was the perfect race! #moresuperspeedways

Newman’s comment was epic!!! “The #8 car ran out of talent”. 😂

Big Poppa Trump It’s better equipment than CGR equipment. Newman didn’t make a bonehead move and wreck the leaders.
