The guy being interviewed (Jax) is pretty infamous for selling poor quality animals at shows. I had a few from him that passed away very quick, he sells animals that are clearly in poor condition, gave me completely improper advice (such as housing multiple species together) so not a good person to be educating others on reptile care. Plenty of his animals don’t even sit in his care for more than a few days before being sold. By “his” care, I mean that he has someone else doing most if not all of that work for him (and doing a poor job of it too, many underweight animals at his show tables and animals with visible health issues). There are ethical and unethical sellers who work with imported animals and he is unfortunately currently one of the unethical ones for sure. If he’s got CB/CBB animals at his table, I hate to say, I don’t even think I’d trust those to be healthy either.

This dude should not be allowed to have anything to do with blue tongues. Guy says they need 8 foot floor space yet provides them with less that 3 feet squared

I did some research on NBTS they need a 55G or 75G tank and once he said they need “8ft of floor space to house one” and said “when they hatch they are small” NBTS have live Young so I could tell he was lying I’m not saying this in a hateful way to this dude but I don’t like being negative and when people lie it makes me super upset for lying and mistreating animals 😢 (I just made this message to let people know I’m not sending hate to him or trying to be negative)

I keep my blue tongue in a 2x2x4 120 gallon enclosure and I would like to upgrade it when I get the space. They like to explore and need there space because of that.

It depends I got mine for $240 ish plus $60 shipping (I got mine off morphmarket), but I was also looking at another northern from the same breeder. It was a beautiful red line but was about $600
