Love those easy fixes. Had one today. Apartment complex, maintenance said the board was bad on an older Rheem 80%er. Nope. Tstat was set to OFF, Fan to ON. Filter was nasty as hell too. 1 hr. minimum for a 30 minute job left me time to grab a drink and a wrap.

Mate, you are just pumping out the videos.... I'm not complaining at all! ALso.. sometimes the problem has the easiest solution.. you just don't see it, because it makes sense to us.. why would it be off?? lol. But does it have power....? I diagnosed a heat pump that way... 3 shutoffs AND furnace switch, but we forgot it had 2 disconnects and a breaker, til the next day, when I had that aha moment.

Sometimes when I’m in a hurry to drain an expansion vessel I hammer a hole in the top with an icepick. It usually is empty within 30 seconds. Saves you the time waiting for the “glug glug” to stop.
