Looks like an 83/84 Kuwahara Nova. I rode one in high school from 1986-1987. Converted it to a freestyle bike. After that bike I got a green Skyway Street Beat.

Those Araya rims look AWESOME, the one in the front is unbelievable! I'm a big fan of Arayas, I still ride one today! They're all single wall rims, but IMO stronger than MANY modern double walls! Ok, so they can't take today's bumps on a rear wheel, but they're the best front rims EVER.

They are a nice rim! I ran them up till the early 00's.

I have a set of Homeless bars and they look a bit different compared to yours. Slightly different shape, lower crossbar etc. Plus the open ends that you mentioned. Yours look more like Xposure bars to me. But there could of course have been differenet versions of the Homeless bars. Who knows...

I think they might be Xposures too

Every rail in bend slaughtered on a 45+ lb eastern Hercules with Alex triple walls n 6.6 inch powerlight 4 piece in my lap. Every gat damn rail. Rode all lines at solace too. Waits for heavy pork line filmed.....

Fuck yeah those powerlight bars with the extra bend in the grip were wild. Idk if yours had that. But they definitely gave you a little extra pop.

Those Arayas are likely from the Sekine bike and possibly the black bars too. The Sekine is the 2 speed bike! It is almost the same bike as a Shimano on BMX Museum with the same Shimano shifting system. There are similar Yamaha and Motobecane BMXs. It seems to have a Tange frame and fork that Sekine would have branded. Sekine made speed bikes in Canada but I don't think the BMX was made in Canada unless it was just assembled in Canada. I'm building the Sekine and the rims are impossible to find, especially with the two-speed cogs and chain rings. The shifter and derailleur is even more rare.
