I just discovered this book, yet I actually did treat my child this way (as his father) always carrying him always with him near, allowing him into my bed even though my wife didn't want it. I destroyed my shoulder carrying him as he was huge. This book is speaking a message I already sensed.

totally agree, it is a must read!!!! I always recommend it! I was in a deep deep depression after my first son was born, because we were separate for his first night here, I wasn't able to be without him for 2 years, and all the people call me crazy, and then (11 years ago) I read this amazing book, and everything made sense to me... my son is 13 now and we have a beautiful relation ship, even he has a teenager explosion now! hahahaha I did that the book said by instinct... and people treated me so bad... with Greta, my 4years old daughter was beautiful because I know i was right from the beginning and now hopefully I am in more compassion tribe... I love this book it made a huge difference in my life...

This book came to me many years ago before I even thought about having kids. Everything she describes has deeply resonated with me and has made me very confident to parent my son the way I do. It also helped me understand my own past and life in general better. A must read for everyone✨❤️ Thanks for sharing your light with us.

I am loving the videos where you focus on a book. Nonviolent Communication & now this book will be summer reads for me. I know for myself, my children have brought me a level of happiness that is indescribable. Your children exude happiness. Love it!

So true. Thanks for the review. I see my little one smile at me when nursing and being close. She takes things as they are, as they come. Total acceptance of what is. That’s how we start out. Ideally. Especially when we get our needs meet. It’s a beautiful thing to really be there for an infant and know they can have a strong self confident foundation because of it. I’m doing everything almost the opposite of what the “norm” in our society says to do with infants because it’s simply what feels right and makes sense intuitively to do (and because I’m able). When I started questioning what felt right for my baby, most of the common practices here seemed barbaric to me, honestly. Putting helpless little people in “cages”/ prisons called cribs?? Really? Why? It’s the beginning of the deadening of their senses and shutting down of intuition when we ignore the wisdom and humanity of our little ones.

Hello! I am searching for Continuum Concept content and I just want to say I appreciate your video. I am puzzled why not more people talk about all this! I read the book 20 years ago and had to apply my new awareness to parenting my two kids. It was an amazing experience that I still want to share with others. How are things going?

Great stuff, we would do well to study healthy indigenous tribes and mirror them in how we structure our society, diet, and lifestyle
