Jungkook said the "never let go" repeated chorus part is long because he actually tailored that part for a house dance performance. But he didn't had enough time to record the performance before going to military. He was taking house dance lessons back in 2022. It'd have been more amazing to see the performance aswell but still it's so good. Love how these festa songs are these unhinged outlets for his creative freedom We got a jazz-lofi hit SWY, lyrics from our wv messages My You and now a hyperpop fused pop track because he got inspired from a sample... he's so UNPREDICTABLE and I love that. I also read in my travels that in verse 1 where Jungkook says "Never Let Go" he says it 11xs representing BTS' 11th Anniversary and in verse 2 he says "Never Let Go" 12xs representing next year with BTS. As always I love your reactions. I loved how you guys were feeling the song, especially Blaze! The more I hear this, the more I love it. The lyrics are so beautiful! Then JK's message on Weverse was so endearing - this song to us just makes me smile and dance. I missed JK's voice so much! He wanted to know if we liked it and mentioned that he had wanted to do a house dance performance to it, but ran out of time.
