1000 pennies! Just think what we could have bought with that when we were kids!! And the variety of dates and monarchs was as varied as you have here. I used to starve saving my 3d tuck shop money as the dinner ladies would keep the Victorians for me. Thanks again, Paul.

I usually watch these coin hunts at work during my break but tonight I am at home listening with head phones. My partner Irene is looking at me as if I am a Looney as I am saying things like " h mint mark kn mint mark veil head recessed ear and low tide" I think she is going to call the men in white coats in the hurry up wagon.

missed the old penny hunt, good to see you back, just completed date run of all sixpences and shillings back to 1900, moving on now to fill the gaps in pennies, halfpennies and farthings. dont know if i will manage to complete the florins, & half crowns back to 1900 though

I am so glad you uploaded another old penny hunt Coin Patrol! These are my favourite videos that you do. I love all of the extra information you give. Nothing super out of the ordinary in the first hunt but the French 1913 was pretty nice. Always cool to see those older coins in nice condition. Please keep making the 20 minute videos because it means you post consistently for a couple of weeks. I would rather that than a 3 hour video all at once! Thanks again!

Steady start to a very welcome return! The 1889 penny was a nice find in not too bad condition considering how long it had probably been in circulation. Think episodes are better than one three hour video as the latter would no doubt still need to be recorded in sections as to do the whole lot in one session would be quite a slog!

Another good start to your hunt, I wonder if the sticky label on the Vicky hints that this is from the same source as the batch I purchased before Christmas, 90%of the KGVI coins in that hunt had the sticky tape on them.
