BF Goodrich KO2 tyres are a must. Had a SZ5 for four years. The tyres were a game changer. 4WD should only be used on loose ground or full snow

6:08 The five door versions are made in India, and they are meant for the Asian market, as well as Africa and Australia. I bought two of the five-door versions here in India since we have a farm. The five-door variants do have a few things more than the version you are driving, and in a lot of the markets where both are sold, people are saying that the five-door version is much more comfortable to drive. You can look up videos on the five-door versions that are being uploaded aplenty by Indian youtubers, as well as several from Australia and Africa as well. There is a recent video from Africa that compares the three-door with a five-door and highlights the differences in the drive.

My issue is the bloody price. It’s skyrocketed, to the point where if you spend a little more, you can buy a low km dual cab with accessories like a Hilux.

It has gone up a lot, but think a lot of it is due supply and demand. You won’t loose much money on one that’s the positive!

9:36 4H can be activated even as the car is moving if the steering is straight and you are under 100 kmph, and the accelerator pedal is depressed.

@@ameliaautomotive The Jimny is a good vehicle that could have been so much better, as you mentioned a small turbo diesel would have been ideal, the low range transfer gear is too high but options for that are available, the clutch is not very strong and the auto hubs unreliable, but what is not very good at all again as mentioned by you is the total lack of rustproofing from the factory, some areas don't even have any topcoat! Even my old Land Rovers weren't that bad.

this little Jimny is absolutely lovely. we get only the 5 door version in India. But it is brilliant. Ive had mine only a month but have been wanting it since it launched here 9 months ago. (BTW Mr dog looks fantastic. a Liver Labrador.

There is a reason why the 5 door Jimny is so sought after second hand. Not sure I understand why Suzuki have not adapted to try and sell more in UK

It would still have the engine which is pulling whole-range overall emissions down. This being a ‘van’ is under different rules.

Modern tech is what keeps most cars in the workshop lol . Great little car but now days a ridiculous price. You talk about all head light bulbs and wheels lol back in the day a family of 4 went on holiday in a little mini …..you can tell what world you grew up in 😂

I own a jimny XL 5 door. It's an amazing vehicle. Although the one that you are reviewing is a base model, the XL comes with a 15 inch alloy and the windows a tinted.
