If I'm not mistaken, the Green Idol was a japanese ball in the 2017-2018 era. I can't remember which. I personally do not have an overseas ball, but I have a friend with an Idol Blackout and a Red Hammer Urethane. As for where you got the Green Idol from, I'm gonna say you got it from 2022 worlds in Australia

This ball looks smooth and consistent! Definitely think this ball will dominate on the PBA tour for years to come! The green Idol is an overseas ball. It’s their version of the OG idol. And my most exotic ball that I have that I still throw to this day is the good old Idol Pro! That ball is a beast like the phase 2!

The lime green Idol is an overseas bowling ball that uses the Micro Trax S18 coverstock and falls under their HP3 series. I believe it was a remake of the original or first Idol. Thanks for the video review.

Green Idol was released overseas in Japan...2018 I think...and the exotic balls I love rolling include RSTX2 Squad and the UFO pearl which was a Korean release I think.

Ok, so adding the Optimum Idol and Phaze II isn't an overlap issue...? I did notice you mentioned a possible surface change on one of the two. I've also thought about drilling one pin down and the other pin up. Which way would you go? Also, it's worth mentioning that I'm a low rev/speed dominant stroker.

Green idol from the Japanese market. My “exotic” balls are the ghost lock and hyroad gold. Been highly debating on drilling the gold.

I would say the green idol is overseas probably from Japan or Korea. Not sure if you got it from overseas competitions from team Canada or from a place like Bowlersmart who carry overseas balls which is nice

Looking at getting a ball with a Symmetrical Core. All the ones I have right now have an Asymmetrical core. Debating between the Optimum Idol, summit peak, and Phaze 2. I currently use Tracks HX 10, Black Widow Dark Legend, and black widow ghost pearl. I want to try and build out my arsenal a little bit.

Lime one from Japan don't know much else about it though I have some old bowling balls not sure I can call them exotic like an original lt-48, original ebonite the one,and original gold rhino pro and my original black widow urethane is still one of my favorites

Hey Jordan, great video & bowling as always. Correct me for my ignorance; didn't the o.g. idol & phase 2 come out around the same time? As we know the phase 3 is out now, but anyway. These balls (idols) are such a great match up to your game on, like you said, that 38-42 where you can get it to 7-11 board, depending. I couldn't help but notice that phase 2 doesn't seem to rev up nearly as much. Is that because the cover is stronger and needs to see more oil to skid and roll/rev up? Or did you just drill it a touch weaker than the idols? Because numbers wise the weight block/cores are super close between the p2 & idols. As well, does your rev rate change from when you are playing straighter/up the back vs fluffing it out and coming up the side "getting around it" like when you moved in? Or was it just that you softened your hand up? It's great to see such a pure swing. You're not hitting up on it, you're always watching what the ball is doing over the lane & epically through the pin deck. Truly a great bowler. 👍

Where did the green idol come from? Well it could have either come from ebay or from a friend because i don't believe those are sold anymore or you would have had to have gotten it from a bowling store online.

Green Idol was at Bowler's mart and sold overseas. Not sure if you ordered it or if you got it when you were traveling with Team Canada. That said, I really love the microtrax 18 cover. Still using my old trusty pink Idol - favorite all time ball- and regret never buying a back up. Tried the helios, - it was ok but not as good. Mega pink is pretty good too, though not as great as the OG. What I really wish the Roto Gods would make is the hybrid microtrax 18 cover that was on the X1. Please roto gods, read this and make one.
