I used to visit Sea World San Diego a lot. I loved the Shark tubes, Wild Arctic, 3D Haunted Lighthouse, and Journey to Atlantis. So many memories

I've lived in San Diego fro most of my life and I remember having a pass so me and my family would come here all the time. It works really well for someone like me who doesn't like fast rides because of all the aquariums

Very good video! I look forward to the rest. I believe SeaWorld has a bright future despite an unpredictable board and Covid19.

I honestly have mixed feelings about Sea World. I can't say they're a good company but at the same time, they aren't the worst company. Hell, they're not even the worst company about animals. But with that said, I'm ok with animals in captivity, if done right. And Sea World does it fine by now using the orcas as research rather than toys. But I'm just baffled by the fact that these intelligent beautiful animals are forced to spend the rest of their lives in a tank and will never experience the beauty that is the world around it. I find it sad but at the same time, these creatures have been in captivity for so long, there's no point in releasing one in the wild because the orcas would probably die due to their lack of knowledge of their wild counterparts. And yeah sure, you could put one in a sanctuary but to me, what matters more is protecting more killer whales in the wild. Why do you need to waste your time, holding a sign, risking yourself to get arrested while protesting at the Sea World San Diego entrance when you could protect more orcas in the wild. Keep in mind, Sea World has 10 orcas but in the wild there's around 50,000 orcas globally and although they're least concern for now, I think that it's much better to vote for the protection of the orcas environment and demand less for the fish that the orcas prey rather than protesting at Sea World. Not to mention, where's the value in protesting against Sea World. Sure you spread the message across but Sea World isn't going to release their killer whales just because you protested. As heartbreaking as this sounds, I think it's best to let the orcas spend the rest of their lives in captivity and consider protecting more in the wild because some types orcas are critically endangered. Like the Southern Residents orca whose population has gone down to 70. Not to mention all the other species of marine life need protection so what matters more than protesting against Sea World is demanding a better future of Nature itself. Orcas have been and still are my favorite animals. Sea World got me fascinated on their bulk and intelligence and I was even more fascinated in how they behaved in the wild. I never want the killer whale to go extinct because not only will the ecosystem collapse but my future children would ask me "Dad, what is an orca?"
