No Problem Professor.Do it in your free time. I am highly indebted to you for your amazing series on conformational isomers.I didn't understood one bit before I watched your videos. Now I am much confident in this topic.I just want to thank you for all the amazing videos you have made.. Take care keep rocking

Appreciate your very thorough explanation. As an aside, I am a physician as well as a former pharmacist. Organic chemistry was by far one of my favorite subjects. One of the best antihistamines in my experience was dexchlorpheniramine, the stereoisomer of chlorpheniramine, also known as chlor trimeton. Chlor trimeton was the racemic mixture of which only the dextro isomer was clinically effective. The dextro isomer is, unfortunately no longer available commercially. Such is the market but I felt the loss.

Hi Abhishek. As the semester goes on I am getting pretty swamped. I will see what I can do. In the meantime, you might take a look at my Fischer Projections video in the 'Davis Live' playlist. It should get you started on understanding Fischer projections better.

Is the rotation of the light regardless of chemical orientation? Is this negligible for smaller molecules but more noticeable for larger ones? I'm having difficulty understanding how light is consistently polarized a specific rotation given these factors.

Sir, please explain what special in chiral molecules that rotates the plane polarised light? Is it the magnetic component of the light interacting with the electrons in the molecule?

Nice video. Professor Davis ,Can you please make a video demonstrating how to convert wedge-dash structure into fischer projection and vice-versa.My teacher uses no molecular models at all while explaining stereoisomerism so It is becoming really difficult to understand it on my own. Thanks in Advance> keep rocking
