Everyone seems to go brain dead when reality TV shows come up. People these days thrive on snooping in other people's lives. If MTV didn't want to feed that they would be food network (a network that doesn't crowbar it's way into people's lives) Nev just happened to be someone who was innocently trying to help people and MTV saw an oportunity to make that helping people into a modern day "stalker show" (as I "affectionatly" call them)

How would you know MTV isn't screwing them all? I definitly wouldn't put it past that network to do something like that but you can't assume what you don't know. He does help them by actually figuring out who these "catfish" are and making the people either meet them and forget about it or meet them and get closure. He helps. Even if it's not something you or others can see, I can. Keep in mind that these people went to him for help. It's not like he looked for them.
