Damn. Casey will go off-the-grid for a while then come back and just drop complete bangers like this one. @shadowtheory7500 Жыл бұрын
@@thatheadbandguy7998 Casey's talking about your cell phone. Back in 2008 he filmed a short film on bike routes in New York City on a early-generation iphone. That film went viral! So the idea is, while your Cell Phone won't compete with the cameras Marvel uses for their feature films, you can still create incredible videos and even films with just your cell phone. You don't need anything else to get started.

Dear Casey. I quit School at age 16. ( I'm 21 Now ) I began working making Pizza. I quit without a 2 weeks notice due to me being very unhappy and having this huge feeling I had to do something else that didn't involve having a boss I work under. I ended up becoming a film maker for Work / Photographer ( I've been making videos since I was I think 8? But never thought I can make money with it ) I decided to dedicate my life to this. To telling stories and providing services for Weddings and all events like that. Music videos, Interviews, documentary's and even a short film. I do this full time. This is my only source of income. And one of the greatest feelings in the world to me is when someone loves what I make for them. That feeling is a huge part of what success is to me. You left an impact on me. I've followed you on here for a while. Your talk on '' How to be Heard '' is something I listen to daily to remind myself that even tho I don't know what I'm doing, I need to embrace it. Because that's when the best things get made. That is beyond true to me because 95% of the time I don't know what I'm doing. This short film you made here has me even more excited for all the opportunities that I have ahead of me. Thank you for this video you badass.

Woah, calm down, Casey has not invented anything! We've had KZbin since 2005, thousands of people have been doing this for over a decade, and Neistat is one of them. Surely one of the best, but he has not invented shit. He may have been one of those who pioneered the quality, but surely not being creative.

By making it a sport Casey has reframed movie making as a whole. He transforms it into something like jogging: you don't need a lot of equipment to do it, just yourself and a pair of sneakers. The more you do it the better you get and feel. And nobody cares how good you are at jogging, first of all you do it for yourself. Great piece of art Casey!

Paolo Rigotti It was utter shit, and you know it was too. He just rehashes the same video all the time whenever he wants to make something ‘inspiring’ (my tongue is firmly in my cheek here). This guy is a hack and not even a good one at that. There’s only one thing worse than Casey Neistat and that’s people like you who have your tongue so far up his arse it’s practically coming out of his mouth. Now make sure you clean all of that dark brown shit from his arse crevices, you know how much he loves his sycophantic fans fawning over him. Pathetic.

Buddy, I've just re-watch the clip... I still leave the thumb up. And I didn't put that "like" only because he's named Casey Neistat, whoever can make a video like that and give me just an hint of inspiration or simply entertain me, deserve my appreciation.

I’m a film student and whenever I feel discouraged I come back to these videos. My only criticism I have about online video is there is a lack of full immersion. Movie theaters have you completely immersed in the film for its allotted time. Online can’t do that. Jesus, I honestly need to stop sitting on my ass about film making. Honestly thank you Casey for giving me this baby spark of inspiration I have because of this. I've always had a knack for some kind of aspect of film making (I would want to be an actor, writer, producer, director, etc...), when I was 15 going onto 16, my peak interest in film was at it's highest and was such an amazing feeling I had everyday, waking up and actually being excited because I had my video production class, I always had an opportunity to film something, or even just make a dumb video with my friends just so we could laugh together. However, I'm an 18 year old high school senior who's struggling to find not only a college but a new major since I lost so many opportunities to study film production. I'm extremely depressed overall, but quite sad especially for the fact that I've honestly lost that drive, motivation, and even care for my passion. I love the quality of your content so much and how you have that drive for your content. It honestly reminds me how I used to be. I just don't know how I can honestly bring it back hope I can be given opportunities to do it all again.
@makirichi6 жыл бұрын
Imagine I'm 54 now! I was exactly like you at your age: Passionate and scared. All my life I did like you did between your 15 - 18 ish. passionate and scared. Now don't do that please. Don't let yourself being victim of something that could be explained in a pretty simple manner. Move your ass none stop and the pages of your success story will turn one by one. Science explain, but you don't need to reach my age to understand that, right? It's not important where you start from, Go for it kid and fuck the filters ~ Go! just GO!

*Loved it!* Loved the message it had! Loved the pace of it! This video is actually a wake-up call to the world about how ANYONE can create and let their voice be heard. Great stuff Casey!!

Casey, I just recently found you through a Peter McKinnon video. I appreciate the inclusive message of this video. (Peter is inclusive as well). I’m much older than you (57), and not in the age of KZbinrs, but started a Channel a few years ago. I love it so much. Lots to learn, but creativity makes life fun. I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID IN THIS VIDEO!!!

This illustrates the problem of the jumpy-cutty, fast-editty videos that are becoming popular with Casey and Co. Even if it's to serve the story, it's futile if it becomes annoying after 1 min.
