i started drugs when i was 14 ... my situation wasnt just a "social depression" - it is deep trauma. I dont do the unregulated drugs since looong time - but i do Zoloft since 7 yrears and im addicted as fck. My withdrawal syndroms are crazy scary everytime when i want to stop. I cannot.

Antidepressants & antipsychotics are the WORST drugs on the market.. they cause akathisia and parkonism, serotonin syndrome.. its absolute awful.. also giving people PSSD.. psychiatry is not a real science.. its all exploitation and speculation!

When you fall to your models, your materialism and reductionism or socalled scientists, which don't know anything of what mind, spirit, soul and emotion really are, then you are f*ed. Come on, this whole video is so thin to start with, don't you see that?

Thank you for a great documentary. I am a Danish German living in Denmark and working as an educator at a college, so I'd like to contribute a little nuance to that working hours issue. The official working hour rate is 37 hours, as mentioned in the video, but many work some more. The interesting matter is how we work. The organisational pattern is flat. From primary school and on, students are trained in group work, focusing on problem-solving. The effect is that everybody (almost) participates in problem-solving and improving matters. So efficiency is kind of embedded in the culture. And it works! We rarely need managers controlling the people on the floor. Often teams are self-organising. That also leads to happiness because many feel appreciated and involved in decision-making. And it's also good for the economy. Salaries are high but there is a general understanding that one needs to deliver value. And thus Danes are used to and expected to make their own decisions. So far I haven't seen this in any other country: the youngest girl in the bakery makes her own decision if a customer can have the piece of Danish pastry which is left on the plate but not in perfect shape for free to go with the other pieces. It's a small thing but it says a lot about the trust given to her that she can make the decision just as fine as anyone else in the company.

I'd like to know which of these metaphorical cups gets filled by alcohol. I had to quit drinking a couple decades ago, and I haven't felt "normal" ever since. In fact, I'm pretty sure "happiness" is just a myth.

I am a week sober after 12 years of being stoned 24/7. I saw a video about its potential effects, and one that really lit up for me was numbness to all emotions. For years, ive been wondering why i cant feel joy or happiness. Because i keep numbing my bad emotions with weed, as a crutch. Sure, it was ok at first, numbing myself every once in a while to stop caring, but it also numbed my joy after so many years. Im only a week sober, and im rediscovering all the music that would bring me joy and emotion, im actually having fun singing along, finally. Watching this video only solidifies my decision to stop. Maybe Ill go rediscover social bonds again, after years of depressed isolation. And maybe one day, Ill be able to get high with my friends recreationally, instead of alone, to get over my problems. Thank you! Also, the visual demonstration of the tubes was a genius move. I could see all my tubes empty, and the cannabinoids filled to the brim.

I actually never stopped, im a special case as ive been an active lucid dreamer since i was 10. I havent really noticed a difference other than having trouble actually going to sleep, but thats withdrawal or w/e i think.

@karaokepup Wow, that's a gift you got there. The withdrawal takes a toll on the body I guess, but it gradually gets better day by day as the body recuperates. Keep on keeping on and enjoy your singalongs :)

College is nearly free in Bulgaria and the paid maternity leave is up to 2 years and the climate is 100x better. Happiness is so subjective it is impossible to measure. Nordic people just don't complain as much, one might guess.

22:21 im also making a movie while reading a book. After 1 or 2 month of reading, suddenly this movie appeared in my mind, and I’m confused whether it’s real or not, where i watch this movie. And if there’s, for example, an item mentioned in the book that I’ve never seen, I’ll search for its image on Google and then continue reading

I am Japanese and have lived in the US, Australia, and Switzerland. The gap between the rich and poor in Japan is widening, but society is still much more homogeneous. People are not judged by which suburb they live in, and you can see doctors, teachers, shopkeepers, cleaners, single mothers, and carpenters all living on the same street.
