Another great video. Thanks for these! Would you consider making a history of Kellogg video?

I enjoyed your video very much, as I was born in Wallace, but it made me a little "misty". My grandparents lived in Mullan up" Finn Gulch", and I still can recognize which house they lived in. I visited the Mullan Museum last summer, and found it very interesting, and found a picture of my father in a Wallace High School Annual that was on display as well. Thanks, and I hope to see more of your videos.

I love these videos. You are the master. Looking forward to a Silver Valley visit and of course, more videos. Keep them coming, Ted.

My dad worked at Sunshine, Morning and Lucky Friday. I lived in Mullan from when I was just a few months old until 1959. I was 10 years old. I was there when they built the new elementary school. The miner strikes just became too much, we were going hungry so we left for Washington where my dad could get work as a farm laborer. We owned a one room shack on second street way past where the asphalt ended and sometimes we were eating high on the hog, my dad got paid in silver dollars. And then the strikes hit ... it seemed like in waves. Anyway, thank you for the video. I passed it on to my son. I would never have been able to show it to him like this and he appreciates it.

I am a descendant of Captain John Mullan's brother Commander Dennis Mullan so this is very interesting.

Did you ever make the video on the mines of Mullan? I’m looking for info on the snowstorm mine and hotel. I saw the picture and I’m really interested in it.

@@frederickmoller "CNN much?" "CNN much" what? If you're asking if I watch the CNN channel much, no, I don't watch Chicken Noodle News at all. Interesting about the Canadian Kidd Creek Mine being the deepest if you are correct. The Kidd Creek Mine is scheduled to close in 2022 while the Lucky Friday has plans to mine known silver reserves to greater depths. See below as of 2016... Idaho 2016 @ Mining Dot Com - "With a finished diameter of 18 feet, the Lucky Friday #4 Winz Shaft was sunk to a depth of 9,587 feet below the surface. The project is moving into the furnishing construction phase where shaft steel and the final conveyances will be installed." The Cementation USA Inc company, which is currently sinking 15 shafts worldwide, has sunk the deepest single-lift shaft in the world at South Deep Mine in South Africa, the deepest shaft in Canada at Kidd Mine D No.4 Shaft, the deepest single-lift shaft in the United States at the Resolution Copper Project, and now the deepest shaft in the United States.
