In case anyone is curious… The reasons behind cucumber sandwiches being called 'posh'; Cucumber sandwiches were associated with royalty / high-class tea time due to their 'delicate' flavor and cucumbers at a time used to be really uncommon and actually quite expensive when people first started eating them but have become much more common and far less expensive nowadays.
