That was (as always), such a beautiful, lovely & nice slice out of your guys' day to day life. I am amazed at how quickly ones kids grow. One tends to forget. Its like one blinks and the sleepless nights are behind, one blinks again and the difficult 2-4 yr age is as well.. and suddenly a whole new world opens up, that makes it all so worth it. It became evident just how big William has gotten, when you were steering the boat, and gently touched his head, without having to bend down. That was just wow to realize how big he has gotten. My kids are long grown, and my grandchild is already 8 yrs old (I had my kids in my early 20s, so I am not thaaaat old hahaha, it just sounds like I am). I have to say Williams age from right now on up, was/is always my favorite. When everything you show them is met with enthusiasm and amazement & that sense of wonder, about everything we ourselves have long forgotten.. when one gets to teach them all of the time for years to come and they are finally old enough to understand it all and take it all in. Then ask questions hahaha. Of course sadly one seems to blink again the kids are grown and have lives of their own & are ready to move out. It all went by too quickly for me tbh. I had my kids nearly 5 yrs apart, which I still think was the best decision ever, as each kid needs can be met with so much ease. It also made it a lot more fun. I would've had more but I blinked yet again& time flew by & then decided it would be to odd to have a grandchild & be preggo with another child myself. It makes for bizarre tv ripe situations& no one needs that. I really do love & enjoy watching your lil snippets out of your life. Thank you for sharing it all with us. Its beautiful & you both are so very talented. I am glad you guys quitt the rat race& get to live now a life according to yourselves, rather than dictated by others. I know its not always easy, and it can be at times financially a lil less certain, even daunting, but you are both self starters, which always guarantees success in the end. Working for yourself is the best thing all around especially while the kids are young, cause one never gets those years back, as one blinks and it all lays behind. You will have so many wonderful moments & captured it all on film to watch over again anytime you wish. It will be so great for your kid/s as well. Especially once they themselves are grown. There is so much beauty in that. I cant say it enough, I am so glad I am aboard & get to watch your journey as it unfolds. Take care.

@ 9:12...the kettle on your hire boat came to the boil at exactly the same moment my kettle came to the boil on my boat. Confused me for a few seconds; kettles whistling in stereo! Enjoying a wee cruise with a competent helmsman or helmswoman at the tiller is one of the great joys of boat life.

Hey that looks like a 1970's Lincoln Continental Mark IV. That is a big car, even for here in the states, I can't imagine driving around the UK in that. My parents used to have one, and they bought it from our neighbors up the street who were into modifying Mustangs. Our old Lincoln usd to be one of the fastest cars in town.

It is just great seeing how well William is growing up! He is a pure joy to watch and you both have done such a wonderful job bringing him up. I do have one question though. I know he has grown up around water and boats, but what happens should he accidently fall into the canal. Has he learned to swim?? Might be a good idea to teach him to do so. Just a thought!
