Ricky Rehbein If there are no advanced anesthetics in Equestria, then stopping time would be usefull to carve out caries or implanting metal pieces in other ponies mouths without them fainting or bucking you. It also reminds me the warning of Zecora about Applebloom´s broken tooth (if she did not drink her vodoo potion soon, it would not get properly repaired). There are limits to what magic and alchemy can do; witch is a better explanation for the ammount of injured ponies in "Leap of Faith" [S4E20]; than all of them being too poor to pay for a proper magical (not fake) solution.

***** i did checked, holy cows. Oh sweet Celestia, Starlight Glimmer creeps the hell out of me, the most evil antagonist in this show for me, at least for now. I mean Tirek was evil, but in a way just to become powerful, Discord is more about for Evulz, etc. and all of them were more or less supernatural (comparing to normal ponies and stuff) but Stalight is all about the IDEA... and she is just your regualr unicorn, but the IDEA is what makes her so dangerous, she thinks she is right/the good guys. Though the fact how easily she took Twilight and mane6 butty symbols was kinda bad usage of plot device/deus ex machina.

Am I the only one that really didn't like this? If always assumed those ponies talking Twilight in the pilot were acquaintances that sometimes asked her to hang out. I liked it a lot better that way. It makes the whole thing about Twilight discovering friendship for the first time in Ponyville a lot more authentic and meaningful. Making her a terrible friend in the past almost erases that, for me. Also, if she never wanted friends how in Equestria did she get some? Friends take effort to make from my experience.
