Aunty, don't take on the negative people! I use all my seasoned cast iron pots also, and people are so mean. Even recently, I posted my parents cooking and people said the pots were dirty. Most of the people who say that are those who don't cook or aren't educated about cast iron pots. They don't know the difference between aluminum pots and well-seasoned cast iron pots. Keep being amazing and don't let the ugly in others deter you 🙏🏽❤️

I like how humble you and your husband are. Also you are a working woman so at 60 it’s not easy to scrubbing pots. Use vinegar salt and baking soda to soak the pot bottom with a wet paper towel or napkin for about five minutes and then scrub it sometimes it works for me most times but you have to put a little bit of elbow grease in it. I hope it works.

Ms. Lady your pots are well-seasoned and beautiful! My ex-mother-in-law had those same pots that she used to make rice and beans. I am a chef and I wished that I had those pots with all of that history in them! By the way, I love, love your kitchen!! 2 refrigerators are everything!

I was happy to see how your pots look bcuz it shows that you use your pots to cook for many years & therefore it can’t look like new. If anyone knows how to get it to look like it’s new, then by all means share the info. In the meantime don’t COMPLAIN if you don’t know how. Also it takes lots of energy & strength to scrub iron pot’s especially as we get older & might have arthritis or Carpal tunnel. Keep up the good work Ria.❤️

Instead of dirtying your stive top, you can place it in a foiled tray and drizzle with olive oil and put in oven on broiler for a few minutes. You wont have any mess to clean. Same for your baigan, garlic pepper etc
