Zhujiang New Town is the main component of Guangzhou Tianhe CBD. Tianhe CBD is one of the three major national-level central business districts approved by the State Council (the other two are Beijing CBD and Shanghai Lujiazui CBD). It mainly serves the Pearl River Delta economic circle. It is the largest CBD in South China, a member of the World Business District Alliance, Guangdong The Hong Kong and Macao Service Trade Liberalization Demonstration Base has become a highly concentrated area for headquarters economy and high-end industries such as finance, technology, and business in South China. Tianhe CBD is the place with the densest skyscrapers above 300 meters in China, and also the area with the highest concentration of Fortune 500 companies in Guangzhou. It has 13 headquarters of multinational companies, 3 headquarters of Fortune 500 companies, and 140 Fortune 500 companies. There are 184 project institutions and 20 domestic top 500 enterprises.

Amazing looking landscaping. One thing you immediately notice is how clean it is. There is no garbage blowing around in the street like here in US. Also look at the intersection, there are no bums or bum tents lining the sidewalks. There are no bums acting crazy. People can actually walk around in peace. Also notice how people are dressed, the women don’t have tattoos all over, blue hair and nose rings with bars sticking through their noses. The women actually look normal. Also notice how you don’t see huge obese people everywhere. It really is a contrast. Stunning to see, the city itself is beautiful there is no doubt about it extremely modern and stunning to see. China is just a modern First World country. Places like the UK or US are in large parts 2nd world countries, with only small pockets of concentrated wealth and hence development. Many large SE Asian nations are already far ahead in terms of new construction, aesthetics, safety, cute cafes, luxurious malls etc by comparison. It's just propaganda and living on ideas of the past that lets "Westerners" assume they have the best quality of life. Complete rubbish. Moscow is also far cleaner, safer, more luxurious and more impressive than any other European or US city.

And this isn't even China's best. Visit Shenzhen. You'll literally think you skipped time. Then compare it to the decrepit cities in the west. You'll realize just how backward and lacking the entire West is compared to China. Outdated trains keep going off track here in the US. Several such incidents have occurred here. I was in Beijing not too long ago, and I rode the Gangxia North rail station. I was blown away by the breathtaking architecture, cleanliness, and high-tech amenities. I've rode several trains in several European countries and most of the US. And I can confidently say that there is none-absolutely none-that compares in any way, shape, or form to that modern marvel of a train station. This explains why western politicians and media outlets love to trash-talk China or paint it negatively. China has come from behind and lipped several years ahead of the entire West. The Chinese are living in the future, and their government doesn't spare when it comes to public infrastructure. I have plans to move to Shenzhen. My job allows me to work from home, and my employer couldn't care less where I work from.

Thanks for the video! I lived in Guangzhou for about 7 months - next door to New Town in Lie De - and I would walk to New Town Park and the mall quite often. The park is INCREDIBLE. So lush and green, all while being surrounded on all sides by massive skyscrapers. I never did a bus tour, but it's such an impressive city. When people who have never been to China think of China, they think of Shanghai and Beijing. Hong Kong is a sensitive topic, but they never think of Guangzhou. Show them this video, and they'll remember Guangzhou, I guarantee it. They'll say....where is this place? How have I never heard of it before? It's huge. It's got so many trees. My wife is Chinese, and GZ is where she did her final green card interview at the consulate (embassy? I can't remember) right in this general area of the video. It was surreal to see an American flag flying high in the China sky. Lol.

Can't really hate on the CCP much when you guys have towns like this. I like the trees and the contrast of the trees, lights and skyscrapers. Must be nice to ride through. Regards from an indian guy in thailand. This town looks nicer than any US town i've been to as well.
