Wow! Blue skies , quite a rare sight at the moment🙂, another good vid Mike. This is where a certain Mr Waterman used to do his loco spotting in the late fifties steam era.

Yeah that's right Bryan I believe he modelled his train layout on Leamington Spa, although he did come from Coventry. Thank you for watching my latest video Bryan I hope I can keep you interested in what I upload in the coming months. Regards Mike.

I love the sound of a 68 under power, awesome. The Western Main Line from Brum towards Leamington is a great place for a bit of spotting, and the Art Deco station at Leamington a great place to spend a few hours...

Hiya stranger... Long time since we last spoke to one another bud..... Cracking video Grommit, you deserve a pat on the back.... Ooooo and ooooooo again..... I saw something today you may have been interested in Mike.. I was getting a load out of Keynsham (Mcgills Transport) and their yard has a good view of the railway line, a matter of yards away.... What should come past, heading in the direction towards Bristol, a flippin steam train!!!!! I think that the number was 35028 mate, but don't quote me on that, or the class because I'm afraid that I don't know much about steam engines.... It looked nice and shiny though with about 11

Is that tiny platform used by drivers? Goods train (first one) ala get out and stretch their legs? Or ?
@antman09ful13 жыл бұрын

Will always resent Chiltern for killing off our awesome little company that ran trains from Wrexham to London mk3 coaches with a class 67 on the front Chiltern closed it down and used all the stock for themselves.
@antman09ful13 жыл бұрын
Yeah I understand your feeling Tom, I went to film this service at Wrexham when It was operating, thanks for your comment.

With about 11 or 12 cream and brown carriages behind it..... I pressed the wrong bloody button before I had chance to finish the flippin message mate... Sorry about that... Give my kindest regards to Sue and Dolly please Mike..... Oh, absolutely hee haw in Bescot this afternoon mate... Except severe congestion on the M6 North bound and a stupid car driver decided to drive into the side of my truck.... His fault, not mine mate
@antman09ful13 жыл бұрын
I don't know much about steam ether Nige, but you was right about the number as it was on a charter train from London to Bristol. Did you get to see my SVR Diesel Bash from Saturday, as I think its a very good video, which I don't praise myself normally. So some dickhead didn't like the side of your lorry, did he do much damage to his car, pleased to see you are working again Nige. All is good with us thanks, so you take care. Mike.

@@antman09ful1 the stupid knob decided to crack the corner bumper on the truck and took all 10 wheel nut covers off on the front axle on the passenger side..... I knew what he was playing at mate.... Undertake all the traffic by driving along the slip road towards junction 9 of the M6 and get back on the motorway in front of me... That wasn't going to happen... Not with me, he claims that it was my fault because I would not let him onto the motorway... I told him that I knew exa what he was doing... By undertaking traffic to avoid the congestion and decided to slip in front of me. I asked him, why didn't you just carry on down the bloody slip road, got to the roundabout and got back on the flippin M6???? I'll tell you why, because you are stupid and I'm not.... I'll phone the police he said, then use my phone, because I'm sure they would love to see the DASHCAM FOOTAGE..... Bloody useless brain dead idiot..... Sorry Mike.... I'll get off my soap box now mate
@nigelbevan84493 жыл бұрын
Yessssssss!!!! I saw the SVR footage bud..... I was so sorely tempted to go up there on Saturday, but I decided against it because, don't take this the wrong way my friend but, I hate being jostled about by know all rail enthusiasts with bloody rucksacks on their back and pushing me to one side.... You must think I'm a right Victor Meldrew Mike, but that's not the case at all..... Like you, I love my railways, but not at all well and hate being jostled about by some bloody idiot with a flippin rucksack on his back, just so he can get a better view and get a cheap high on diesel fumes!!!!!!.... I got a story to tell you relating to Gresty Bridge open day a couple of years ago..... But I'll save that to a later date.... I wish I had gone now, as it would of been lovely to have met up my friend.

No you stop on your soap box as I am interested Nige how these accidents happen.
@antman09ful13 жыл бұрын
Yes that would have been good Nige, maybe we can sort something next time, but my jeans get very very wet which wasn't nice having to stop in wet cloths for hours, but I did take a extra coat. Then on my way to Leicester we got stuck on the M5 as all lanes got closed due to a bloody accident.
