San Jose looks so interesting - I can’t wait to see the rest of your trip! And I loved the layout of your hotel room! 😍

THE us embassy just put out a notice of increased crime in San Jose...Did you notice any?
@TravelNoJitters Жыл бұрын
Hi Derrick. Though we didn’t notice any, we did notice precautions in place. Businesses were closing early and most people cleared the streets shortly after sunset. During the day, we felt safe. The people were friendly, helpful, and proud of their beautiful city and country. We went back to the hotel shortly after nightfall, so we didn’t experience any crime. From our experience, being in San Jose was not much different than traveling in other places. We followed directions and queues from the local people. We did notice, most people did not spend their entire time in Costa Rica in San Jose but journeyed outside the city. We did the same and went to other areas of Costa Rica for the majority of our trip. I would always advise staying alert and exercising normal caution while traveling.
